The value of this game is heavily dependent on your interest and fan-level of the Metal Gear Solid series. If you are way into MGS, then $18 is not a bad price at all.
had a feeling about this and what the hell, I enjoyed it the first time around. As @jesus_phish said I'd love to know if they do an upgrade thing like they did woth COD, Battlefield, ect.
Well, got it working and tried out a little Dark Souls (1), It felt pretty good, of course this is coming from someone who uses an old as beat up wired 360 controller for PC games normally.
Really wanna try this but for some reason I can't get this thing to work. Downloads and installs fine. Plug in the controller and Windows is looking for a driver to intialize and fails. In the device manager I get a Code 37 (Device driver failed to intialize) Haven't found a fix for this issue on the internet yet... Any other duders having this issue?
sigh... still getting the "installation stopped" message. Think I saw that part of the June update handles the GWG stuff so I guess I've gotta wait for the update?
@legend: It works the same as PS+ where you have access to it again once you resub. If you are not subscribed they are locked. This makes sense from a publishing standpoint, because then someone could theoretically just get a month of Gold for like 10 bucks or whatever it is and have the two games permanently. If you look at the games MS was offering for the 360 Games for Gold in the past, you'll see that they're usually older games because of this reason.
Actually this is only the case with the xbox one GWG. On the 360 because of the way the licences work you either own it or you don't so with the 360 you could theoretically buy a one month membership and get your two free games, but most of the games have been at least a year old or more and they are kinda relying on you to keep your gold so you can continue to get more free games.
