Golf, most American sports (no offence I just have no god damn clue what a '1st down' is and don't really want to, nor can I stand to sit through some of those never-ending games of baseball), F1, can't really get into Tennis either these days.
The Ashes, the World Cup, and the Premier League are all I really need. Spanish and Italian football is great too, Champions League final is probably my favourite event of the year.
I played PS1 and 2 and for about 10 years before getting my 360 but still vastly prefer the 360 controller and can't stand having to switch to the PS3 one whenever I'm in the mood for a PS3 exclusive. I don't think it's anything to do with what you used beforehand and having to get used to it, the 360 pad is simply better ergonomic design, it feels comfortable, it handles well, has great feedback, the PS3 controller feels light, the triggers are flimsy, and overall it just feels like a very poorly designed product...I won't even get started on SixAxis.
