Obviously Sonic. I mean, he went from being a 16-bit star to the most hated character in Video Game history.
I mean, he still appeals to kids because of all the cartoons but there are all the stupid different characters, him making out with a human and then using a sword. Sonic team are just amazingly stupid.
As some of you may know I've been playing Metal Gear Solid 4 like crazy for the past few days. I beat it this morning and instead of posting my review which I sort of have mixed feelings about I'm just gonna talk about the game.
Sound: I felt that the soundtrack didn't have catchy tunes but that's because they weren't going for thematic they were going for ambience and it worked really well. Voice acting is phoenominal.
Gameplay: Feels really really modern. I mean, really. It feels incredibly realistic and the game has so much depth and is just begging to be played twice.
Story: Epic. There are some moments in this game that are just incredible. Sometimes it got a little too complicated though for a newcomer to the series but besides that, fantastic.
Graphics: Best I've ever seen. 'Nuff said.
Metal Gear Online: Has some of the cheapest opponents and everything is a BIT too troublesome. It's still fun for the most part. Takes some getting used to though.
So, yesterday I FINALLY got my PS3. I have to say I'm nothing more than blown away by it.
The games I currently have for it are just Drake's Fortune, Warhawk and Super Stardust HD although I'll probably get Pixeljunk monsters sometime soon. Besides that I have a bunch of PS2 games I'm also playing and Final Fantasy 7. The XMB is awesome, setting everything up is a total cinch and it's just incredibly fun to play.
My Playstation ID is LittleChocobo add me but say like "GiantBomb!!!!" in your message....I hate random requests. Anyways, I am now a certified Sony fanboy. When I got my 360 I liked it, I played Mass Effect a ton but I wasn't so hooked like I am to the PS3. I do have more games than I had for my 360 but still. I mean, I turn it on at 8:30 and next thing I know it's noon.

Uncharted Drake's Fortune: This game is just purely next-gen. The gameplay is ace and it feels like a great movie.
Shadow of The Colossus: Wow
FF7: Goodness me it's better than I thought it would be and the old thing hasn't aged ONE bit.
E3's over, I've heard all the announcements seen plenty of the games and, my lasting opinion on the subject matter is: what the crap?
I'm not saying it was a whole waste, no, definitely not. E3 is a place of announcements and altogether gaming spirit (or lack thereof). I say 'What the Crap' because of the announcements made. Microsoft's press conference made me, really mad. The Fallout 3, Gears, Fable and Resident Evil 5 stuff was pretty cool (especially Fallout 3). After that it just went downhill. Lips was a blatant rip-off of Singstar, the Avatar System was disappointing same with the new layout. Netflix looked cool though. Then, they dropped the Final Fantasy Xiii bomb, which, made me disappointed. Microsoft didn't focus much on new exclusives just on battling Sony, which made me mad especially when John said "Final Fantasy Xiii joins a long list of previous PS2 exclusives..." that there was a backhand to Sony's face that was uncalled for.
Nintendo, was, really, really funny. Cammie Dunaway is a complete and total idiot and now that Thompson's been disbarred from the court of law, Cammie's the gaming's world's most hated. Half of the press conference was talking about Microsoft's success and the rest was a soccer mom talking to what she thought were a bunch of 3rd graders.
