Indecent exposure: Which came first...the chicken or the can

I PRESENT...MICK JAGGER CHICKEN!

Saturday, February 5th 2011
Red12b discovers a new way of cooking a chicken with advanced infusion technology,
What he requires is one whole baby chicken, Bourbon and some sprite™,

He cracks open the can, spills half of it's contents and fill the rest with Premium Bourbon.
Then he shoves that can up the receptacle of the chicken.
Places that Can on a Burning plate of metal, and leaving it to sear and boil for 1 1/2 hours.

As it cooks he takes pictures, sick sick pictures.

His friends gather round and admire in it's allure,
As it chars they add more and more to the surrounding "BBQ" Like "Chicken Nibbles" "Boerewors" ans "Sirloin Steak"
These barbarians then make a "salad" for some sort of healthy option...

As the chicken is literally cooked from the inside out, the meat starts to drip from the carcass these sick fucking bastards start to salivate as the smell that emanates from the searing flesh fill their nostrils

They grab their plates in anticipation and pile the "food" on as fast as they can muster

What was left of the remains were chucked out with the common garbage

If you know or if you see any of these people in your travels please contact your local authorities as soon as you are able,

these sick motherfuckers must be apprehended as fast as possible.

The Big Day Out, Shihad, Tool and the Girl. (Updated with Video)

Went to the Big Day Out yesterday, nothing beats an 8 hour shift starting from 3 in the morning and jumping straight into a 12 hour music festival, it was amazing

Luger Boa was good

I Am Giant was pretty awesome

Airbourne were fuckin' awesome with Joel (Lead singer guitarist) climbing the scaffolding 5 feet in front of me, fucking mad bugger climbed up around 6 meters and played a solo, so fucking cool

Fucking cunt was mad! I was five feet from the scaffold

Deftones were alright

Lupe Fiasco... I went and got food and drink

Wolfmother was basically a cover band, playing a few Who songs and Dear prudence

John Butler trio... I made my way to the Orange stage in wait for Shihad,
I was three people from the barrier for the Shihad set, the minute Trio stopped chanting from the crowd started "Shihad shihad shihad shihad"

Shihad was superb playing "The general electric" in it's entirety The crowd was really intense, pushing us to the barrier and moving as one massive entity it started raining at the start of the set, which was much needed as in the front row it was absolutely packed it was so boiling hot that steam was rising from our sweat and water from the rain, it was a family of shihad
Opening with My Minds Sedate Jon Toogood and the band gave it their all, and the crowd gave it back
with The General Electric the crowd shouting the lyrics in perfect harmony with Jon grew louder than the PA system for which he commented on making us roar in appreciation of this amazing album
Wait and see was incredible not only for how well they performed but it was when I started to notice how intense the crowd was and feeling the amount of pressure on my back  as I struggled to breath in the heat that the crowd was generating.
Pacifier was welcome relief as Jon got us to wave our hands to make some space for us in the front and acknowledging our intensity as fucking awesome
after pacifier the crowed went ballistic with the rest of the set Thin White Line; Only Time; Just Like Everybody Else; Sport And Religion; Spacing; The Metal Song; Life In Cars played in succession with everybody singing

Video of pacifier

I didn't take this

 From another angle

Then the last song of the Album, Brightest Star, with everyone singing in harmony with Jon it was amazing to be a part of

Shihad then played their last song Sleepeater from their latest album and we jumped and made as much noise as as we could yelling the lyrics it was intense they thanked the crowd for being fucking awesome Jon rushed to the fence and touched the fans I was an inch from being able to grab his hand

Shihad, I thank you for being awesome

long live

Then Iggy pop and the stooges played their set, it was good but after the madness that was shihad I needed to sit down, I looked at the toilets and eating area with much wanting but I also looked at the entrance to the "D" knowing that I had the best positions in the arena and I could hold on for another 4 hours for TOOL who were playing later, I thought to myself fuck it, hold on ya cunt.

Iggy did crazy iggy that he does so well, making the security guys cringa as he told "All you crazy schizo spazzy motherfuckers who think you're crazy enough to dance with the stooges step forward on to the stage" with iggy making the "Baldie" security guard allow the people on the stage it was quite awesome.

Next up was Rammstein which was crazy awesome Till Lindemann is a fucking presence man holy shit. I have to say that the only song I knew was Du hast and that's because it gets a bit of radio play and I knew that they did crazy Live Shows but fuck me sideways that was an experience, The Pyrotechnics on display were outstanding, with Till changing costumes over the course of the show, with the best song of the set Du Hast with the crowed bellowing the lyrics it was quite a sight to see and the Bow of fireworks and a zipline of sparks going over the crowd and back to the stage to ignite a fuckload of sparks that fell over the band...amazing oh and he also set a man on fire and there were fire-breathing guys with masks on connected to flamethrowers it was mad

Fucking mental

They thanked us and Till told us he was honoured to play in New Zealand the Guitarist waved and clapped at the crowd,

Next up TOOL!

I was already in front of the stage in a good spot and with a good view before they started the crowd wanted more and it was intense the power of the crowd vying for space meant that legs were being caught in the slow rush to get a better view, as soon as they started to play though everyone calmed down to enjoy the show which was without a doubt one of the finest musical experiences of my life.
The set list
  • Ænema
  • Jambi
  • Vicarious
  • Eon Blue Apocalypse
  • The Patient
  • 4°
  • Intolerance
  • Schism
  • Lateralus
  •

  • Third Eye
  • Stinkfist

Was disappointed to not hear 46 and 2 but happy with what they played,
It started raining quite heavily during Schism and continued for the rest of the night,
During Jambi a blonde girl and her friend moved in front of my, She must have been around 5"4 or something, I could tell she couldn't see very much so after the song finished I asked her if she wanted to go on my shoulders for a better view, at first she said no, kinda take aback at what I asked but halfway through Vicarious she turned around and pointed up, I knelt down and she climbed onto my shoulders, halfway during Lateralus I had to let her down as I was getting quite tired, and we pashed it was really amazing, just an all encompassing feast to the senses after the set I lost her in the crowd, but for that hour she was mine and I was hers, I don't know her name and to be honest, it doesn't matter, it was what it was, brilliance.

The set ended with Stinkfist which was quite awesome everybody singing the lyrics like a chant, no words to describe it I was in awe

Then they thanked us and left the stage, we exited the "D" and I went to get some hot Doughnuts and take the longest piss of my life

Then a five Kilometre run to my car...in the rain, awesome

New Zealand...And why i think it's awesome

NZ, Hmmm
This is where I grew up

Coromandel Peninsula New Zealand, I grew up in Kuatunu which is a small town near another small town called Whitianga

I lived in a house on the hill just to the right of this picture.

I went to Mercury Bay Area School which had 1500 students ranging from Primary school (5-10) Intermediate (11-13) and High School/Collage (13-18)
Because of the Tax System Healthcare and the school system are free except for school trips which you pay for and dentistry, which you pay for, there is Insurance but that is subsidised by your employer (Varies from workplace to workplace)
My first Girlfriend was Dana and we made out on the beach, I was 7. it was awesome, My second Girlfriend and first "experience"  was with Jessica and that was in the Grassland near my mothers house I was 13 she was 15, This place holds many great memories,

I now live in Auckland a three hour drive from The Coromandel peninsula

Auckland has around 47 Dormant Volcanoes in the area of the city and  the main drag is built on a Lava flow from tens of thousands of years ago, it was fascinating to read about volcanism and geology when my mum went to Uni and I could just browse the Library and read whatever I liked, when I was 14 my dad went to Manukau Institute of Technology and I continued to read at my leisure whilst he was in classes,

I was born in Melbourne Australia and In my opinion has to be one of the best cities in the world,
Whether you want to believe me or not, by the time I was 6 I have been three times around the world, My father is Dutch and mum is a kiwi, and nearly every year they travelled from new Zealand to Holland and then to Australia so I have been to most major stop over airports

New Zealand is awesome because whilst you guys are in the middle of winter I am enjoying a temperate 25-32°C summer getting a nice tan and living it up with my mates New Zealand is a great place to live

now for some pictures
