So... I just bought a guitar

Yeah,  
I used to play, but my old one got nicked and I never bought a new one, man, you know that saying it's like riding a bike? it ain't,  
 
I need to get used to it again, I have two cuts in my fingers already,  
 
oh well, hey, here's to learning a real skill eh?

I don't ever remember cutting my fingers when I learned to play guitar. Maybe I was MADE FOR IT! 
 
But anyway, you should learn how to play No One Knows by Queens Of The Stone age on guitar. It's so much fun.

To be fair Last week I worked 67 hours guillotining Cardboard down for a fucking stupid order that needed to print and we couldn't bring board from the mill, 120'000 sheets, over 100 tonne in 1 week lifting by hand, I had one bad cardboard cut so it has kinda tenderized my hands, 
 
But I do see your point, maybe I am just not that much of a man eh? a few strings causing me harm...tsk tsk tsk...

Stevie Ray Vaughan's callouses got ripped off when he played.  He'd superglue them back on and keep playing.  So cutting your hands just means that you're a real man.

I need to buy a left handed guitar. I've been playing a right handed guitar upside down for years. I tried stringing it for a left hander, but it just didn't sound right. Good luck.
