If I could make one suggestion, during the news segment on Bethesda/fallout 76 subscription, the actual story or name of the game was never said. Dan brought up the story with a joke and everyone went off on reactions.
Being fairly plugged in to video game news I knew what they were talking about but for a news segment it lacked any information.
Still love the beast cast though and will never miss an episode.

I'm actually really surprised that there wasn't some bullshit that required breaking open the game cartridge to progress when Madnar was talking about MSX and Konami.

This looks like a trap. This game could be so easily exploited by Konami. So many things ticking down that they could let tick down a little too fast to get you to spend some money to temporarily fix the game for you.
Also considering the pretty high MGS standards, I'm pretty concerned about the characters and story seeming to be as good as absent. The enemies seem less interesting too. I hope there will be more enemy types because if it's like this all the way through it looks basically like an asset flip.
Have you ever played MGS V weeks after it was released? They patched it and made it so you had to participate actively in FOB online missions or it froze your ingame money and put it in the literal red. When I patched the game it told me I was now no longer able to purchase simple in game items because I had no money according to the game. This was how Konami "fixed' their economy and it was brilliant. Wait for the game to be fully and completely reviewed, get more sales in, then change how the game works weeks after release.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the soundtrack of Nier: Automata.
I don't know how to continue the meme from that, but that's the feel I'm getting from some of these comments and it's maybe the worst thing ever. I personally liked the soundtrack and it was maybe the best thing in that game for me, but oh god, please stop.
Agreed, Nier is turning into the video game version of Rick and Morty for me. Let people like what they like.
Perfectly serviceable game to chill out with via co-op. Seems perfect for kids. I'm not sure where the hate is coming from other than people who can't understand why a game would exist that's not for their specific interest.
