This is going to be a pretty old one (at least to me) and i suspect most people wont know of it, Predator: concrete jungle.
It might be that I am such a huge predator fan that i ignore all the obvious faults it had ,like no fucking checkpoints in half to one hour long missions but i still loved playing through that game.
To bad no one has ever thought of creating a third person Predator with the technology of today how cool wouldn't such a game be!

another game that gets a lot of shit even thought its really great is Alpha protocol sure it tried to do what mass effect did and failed horribly in comparison but if you pretend mass effect never happened then its a really awesome game

First time i played Dota 2 i warned everyone in my team that i was new and that i had no idea what i was doing.
that led to some helpful tips and others telling me what to do and then 10 or so games in i had picked up on so much that i was more of a asset to my team than most other players.
I faced one or two assholes in the start but when they start calling you shitty names that's the time you should start to play as shitty as they think you are.. Its always fun to have team mates insult you to the point that you go into enemies because you want your team to lose. (might be a bad way to handle it but hell the reactions are always fun)

@cyrus_saren: you are never finished with Starcraft ^^
you start up the multiplayer and then you`re stuck forever or you end up watching streams for the rest of your life,

The problem I have with my backlog is that most games I have finished up to the last 10% and then I stop playing and end up forgetting about them and then a couple of months later I`ll start them up just to realize that I have deleted the save file by mistake when i cleared my hard drive.
happened to me when it comes to Rage, The Walking Dead and a bunch of other titles i cant remember.
Am I alone in doing this or is there anyone else out there who also makes these mistakes?

also I finally finished Half life 2 (I feel a little late on this as I have had it for like 8 years)
Gotta say I think the game is really overrated sure it might have been amazing for its time but man the story just felt flat and boring after all the hype it has gotten over the years, the only interesting thing with the game has to be g-man but other than that i felt disappointed

well i personally just dont like his way of overexplaining everything, the game has been out long enought for everyone to understand the basics he still talks about in every cast.

if i watch a sc2 tournament i would like to hear either a play by play cast whit alot of humor or an analytical cast with alot of info and therories about tactics. Instead day9 just goes with the old this is a baracks it builds marines.

my opinion.

best unit against mass voids are mutas because of the speed so u can back of before they start charging up plus the spread damage the mutas do are amazinga against bunched up voids.
when it comes to infestors in zvz they are always good just make sure to scout for mutas as u lose alot of map control going infestors insteed but on the plus side u can pretty much win any fight with roaches and infestors.
 in zvt they are really effective against bio just make sure to avoid the siege tanks and against mech i think the infessted terans are priceless
and finally in zvp i think roach/infestor still is pretty standard now but i preffer to play muta/ling bling as i am more off a counter attack player.
 
as for general openers i normally go 15 pool 15 hatch against terran and protoss and 14pool against zerg 
and my friends all complain about 4gate when they play zerg so might as well add that u need atleast 2spines with ur lings if u are deffending against a 4gate.

as a hardcore call of duty fan i can honestly tell you that you shouldnt get this game. the single player is boring with more vehicle levels than before and the multiplayer is so boring now when everyone can get killstreaks with the support system. for me it was just a big waste of money

fast expand to opponents exp and just build spine crawlers? and maybe tech to muta? 
if you can win with that then you are my new hero :)
