I've got my 3DS pre-ordered for Friday and trying to decide between this Ridge Racer and SF4 - was wondering if anyone knew if this game had multiplayer a friend is also getting the system and planning to get this game and it would be awesome to go soaring through the skies together.
At the end of the day people are going to try to find ways of speeding the leveling process and doing something like this may discourage people using a third party service to level their character for them. I remember when I was playing WoW, just before the burning crusade came out I decided I really wanted to level a Druid up to take on the expansion with but I just didn't have time I got it up to the mid forties and started thinking about using a service to get me an extra bump in the end I didn't because I was concerned about the security implications of doing this but ultimately I feel that if I'd had something in game to help me through this process (and this was my third character trying to get to level 60) it would have been good for me.
Hey I just got this game after playing the demo and enjoying playing against my brother, I really liked the boxing creator and downloaded George Bush, Barack Obama, Rocky, Tom Selleck and Michael Jackson - which frankly as a cast of characters was brilliant. The graphics for the game are also really good and the framerate is solid but from what I've played the game is completely broken because of its Difficulty.
I decided to jump into the 'Brawl for it All' mode as George Bush on the easiest setting. The first boxer I beat pretty quickly with a facebreaker in the first round, the second guy took me to 3 rounds but I beat him with 3 knockdowns to 1. Then I started the match against the 3rd guy (I think he was called Ice) and I hit a brick wall of difficulty he was dodging and parrying so quickly I got KOed in two rounds, so tried again and narrowly managed to beat him, I then moved on to the next boxer (Sparrow) and again only just won in 3 rounds, then went on to fight Voodoo and lost 4 times in a row - it then put me back to fighting Sparrow!?! At this point I'm still not even half way through the progression on the easiest setting and am getting absolutely destroyed by the AI.
Now I'm all for difficult games, there are people in this world who like nothing more than having the reactions put to the test in games like Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden and I'm fine with that. But this is a game who's whole aesthetic and marketing has been build around this "Freestyle" motif, I wanted this game to be a bit of fun in the evenings beating up various famous people but at the moment I find it so frustrating I just can't get a punch in edgeways.
Yeah I had this problem aswell, I took my hard drive over to a friends and when I came back I had lost my level 11 red knight :-( It definately seems best to avoid this until they get it patched - didn't Braid have some problems with using your hard drive on another console aswell? It's weird how this has cropped up again.
I was just wondering if there is anyway to see what the pending submissions for a page or at least see the submissions I have already made and make further alterations to them. I've made some alterations to the main articles on a few pages and I would quite like to go back to them and make more changes but don't want the original text I wrote to be lost.
Similarly there are a few games I'd like to make alterations to but I'm concerned that I may write about something that someone in the queue has already written about.
