The Den is great, it's where the game starts to show its true nature where I feel Klamath is quite flat and empty.

Also, a lot of people seem keen for Ben to have a purely optimal build for this game, which is frustrating. His build is perfectly fine, and will be kinda fun to see how he does.

There is a certain amount of nostaligic comfort I take to having an FF7 comments section be bad. With how crazy the world is now, it's good to know there's still some things we can rely on.

Ah man I love this, Ben you're doing great! This game is fairly inscrutible and the fact you've already made good progress is awesome.

@topcyclist: ....have you been listening to other podcasts or something? Jan, Ben and Brad all really like it. It definitely will make top 10. It'll likely make top 3.

Yeah this was fantastic. I played this for the first time last night and it really is just a game of "oh wait what the fuck is that?". Unfortunately once those questions are answered, there isn't much longevity or tangible progression to the game. But damn if this doesn't have some of the best open world gameplay I've ever seen. I just wish I wanted to play it more.

Jan is absolutely handling this game! He's countering now with pretty amazing regularity and especially in that last big room, is getting great at crowd control too.

Would definitely continue to watch.

I'm also playing through this for the first time and am loving seeing Jan work stuff out, it's a great feeling and I hope he continues to play!
