Warning: spoilers abound. Grand Theft Auto IV is a rather contradictory and schizophrenic game; contradictory in what it establishes within the narrative and tonal direction, and schizophrenic in what it wants to be, be-it a Grand Theft Auto game as we know it or a stand-alone game in and of itself.
