@robbparris: I recommend the sensitivoty for the camera setting. I remember setting it to the fastest speed, feeling it was too much and then turning it down a notch.

Thanks for this! Was much better after doing that, much more controllable.

So, downloaded this yesterday, and got about 8 hours out of it (think I am close to finishing the first dungeon. I played a bunch of Persona 4, but never got around to finishing it, despite REALLY liking the story.

My first impressions for this game however, is just how it is just OOZING with style. Everything from the end fight menus to the loading screams just feels incredibly polished. Story wise the game is really hooking me in as well (fuck that teacher, never wanted to see someone get their comeuppance in a game before!) and it just all feels really well done.

My one complaint has to be the camera & movement controls however, they just feel incredibly sluggish, especially when going round tight corners. Did anyone else experience this? Is there something in settings anyone suggests changing to improve?

Patreon is just a way of pursuing your dream projects while also giving something back to those that support you. I don't think people should be too pesimistic about Drew's future. At the very worst he'll get to travel the world and make some cool videos for a while. He can always get another regular job, it's not like he'll be homeless or anything.

This is exactly why Patreon kind of rubs me the wrong way, especially in this case. Guess what my dream project would be? Travel. Guess what my wife's dream project would be? Travel. Lots and lots of people would love to be able to quit their jobs and travel the world. Why should I fund somebody else's traveling when I could be saving that money for my own dream trips?

I'm glad to see that Drew has been successful already. I wish him the best and I have nothing but respect for him and his aspirations - I just can't bring myself to support him financially.

The difference is, Drew is going to be creating content from the travel he is doing, and has a proven track record of doing so in such a way that people enjoy watching.

That said, I completely understand your justification for not supporting him financially. Save up for that dream trip!

Personally, I like the idea of the content, and it costs me less than a sandwich worth a month to help get it made. Sounds good!

I subscribed to PC Zone and that was about it. We don't get Game Informer in the UK I believe.

@mezza

I have the quests for them, but they are off on the edges of the map and I was worried I'd be a bit underpowered? I'm getting smacked around a lot at the moment.

I'm starting to get a bit despondent with the game. I still enjoy doing the shrines, but that is about it. Now most of my time is spent avoiding combat so I can find another shrine. Not entirely certain I am supposed to be doing in the game quest wise either, as the quests are obnoxiously vague.

I REALLY enjoy the puzzle shrines. I find the game is quite unforgiving combat wise at times (it is so easy early on to run into enemies than can one shot you) but I accept you are going to die a lot in this game.

Yet to come across what I'd consider a proper "dungeon" so looking forward to that (about 5 hours in so far).
