2013 List of Games Played

There is the repository for the games that came out in 2013 that I have played. Partially so I can see what I need to still play and partially so I know what came out this year. This list can be updated as more games are played. (Alphabetical)

List items

  • I fell off of Assassin's Creed with Revelations and III, not even playing them. (I have them available to play and might go back just to see them.) But this is the first Assassin's Creed I bought and it is great. Still need to beat the game but the pirate aspect is a great addition to the franchise and breathes new life into the series.

  • I have this on PS4 and the game is broken.

  • Are there ten games better than Brothers? I've only played ten other games this year so no. But Brothers isn't some kind of mind blowing experience in the way that a Journey was last year. It's a solid game that focuses on it's gimmick of using one control stick and trigger per brother with the twist in the end that most people should see coming in how it uses its controls. Still, it's a solid game and at about three hours you should just play it.

  • It is what it is. In multiplayer, I enjoy Ghosts more than the Treyarch games because of the speed of playing. But everything else is a slog in this game. The single player has turned into a hide and seek followed by mowing down hundreds of enemies over and over. I've been playing on PS4. I did try a round on the PS3 and the game looks horrible in comparison, closer to a PS2 game than a PS3 game.

  • Fun! That is the gameplay of Dead Rising 3. If only the early game would be as fun. You start with a much too long tutorial section, followed by way too much story before you unlock the whole world as your playground. But once everything opens up the game is super fun.

  • This game is good. Real good.

  • For a free to play multiplayer online Diablo style game this one is pretty fun to get into, play an hour or so, and then play something else. It's fun in small doses even without paying for better heroes or upgrades.

  • Stamping passports and letting people into your country can be surprisingly fun. The story then takes some crazy turns that make the actual gameplay less fun but creates a "story."

  • A great platforming hack and slash with elements of a roguelike while allowing you to progress to the end of the game.

  • Fun, if a bit dated feeling in the gameplay. Would love to see what Volition has next up their sleeve.

  • Bought in the Autumn Steam sale. A fun commentary on games and choice. It should be played but it's not much of a game.

  • Bought this as a test for my new gaming PC. It worked very well. And the game is super great as well. Fantastic game.

  • It's like the 2-D Genesis version of Dark Souls.
