"I don't understand this at all. I just finished Dishonored 2 with almost no powers unlocked. I was just playing for the story and didn't go out of my way to find runes/bonecharms."
Me and you are on the complete opposite sides of the spectrum. I never play a game for the story and only care about the powers, mechanics, and checklists of the game. I like the assassin's creed icon vomit, Diablo-style loot systems, and the JRPG multi-character job system complete with overly complicated cooking, fishing, and crafting mechanics. But watching the same old dozen story archetypes play out in slight variations does not interest me.
I almost never play a game when it's new. I didn't play AC: Odyssey until late last year after Valhalla had already been out. Most games I play have already been out for a few years by the time I get around to checking them out and I pay the hype around a game no mind. Getting hyped for games is the best way to get disappointed by them. (No Man's Sky, Cyberpunk 2077, etc)
@retris: And DDP explained in an interview that I've long forgotten wherefrom, I assume either from the Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, or Joe Rogan podcast, that the symbol was supposed to be a vagina in which he bangs onto his crotch. It was the 90s.
@ikabubu: If they were going to reboot the franchise, they wouldn't be re-mastering the gamecube remake of the original. They would just start from the ground up.
I remember this game being harder than the original because the zombies would become feral after a while if you didn't decapitate or burn them so I never beat it because of that. I do hope this does well and they do a remastering of RE0 because that game was pretty good too.
