7 months after the initial release, a select few buyers of Trials Fusion on PC have been given enough MP keys for themselves and for a few friends.

I think his graph illustrates another point; without sales, maybe that game would not have sold at all. I think this guy is thinking that more people will buy his and others' games at full price than they actually will. In fact, Steam sales seem to lead most people to buy games they may never even play. Isn't that better than no revenue at all?

And the reason games are more expensive at launch is because it would ideally be a better experience (especially for multiplayer games). More players online, less chance of spoilers, and a generally more eager audience. If sales didn't eventually come along in a game's life the game would just die quicker.

Articles like this are important and should be written. I just don't happen to agree with the point Rohrer is making.

Technically speaking GTA V is an impressive game, and for sure the writing is really good at times. However the gameplay is boring as sin, the Online system is so messed up and dull that it REALLY takes effort to have any fun it (which of course will be immediately ruined as soon as it begins). The missions are so inconsistent it's just frustrating and that is not what a GOTY makes.

Sometimes it gets messed up and I don't know if you've tried it yet but by holding down the power button for ten seconds or so resets the video output to whatever is currently connected. This usually works for me when I have a similar issue.

Um, well, I don't know if I want FEAR 2 or not. I haven't played any of the FEARS - I've always been meaning to, but I haven't gotten around to it. I wouldn't mind having FEAR 2 if it's okay to play it without playing FEAR 1 first.

It's totally fine to play it without playing FEAR 1 first! There isn't a lot you have to learn, the game kind of just explains it all for you! I really enjoyed FEAR 2.

Uhm if no one else really wants it that much I really would like to play Scribblenauts Unlimited. I had a lot of fun playing the original Scribblenauts with my brother when it came out and I think it would be really fun to see how far the series has come and share that with him again! I loved making silly solutions to easy problems in the original and I think they added adjectives now? That just sounds ridiculous.
