I'm also confused on these Wii games coming to the Wii-U. Have the been up-converted to play on the Wii-U with the gamepad or pro controller? Or will it go to the Wii menu and you'll be forced to play it with the Wiimote and back down at 480p?

I totally want to buy this and have it on my Wii-U menu and play it on a pro controller. But I'm out if I have to go back to the Wii interface.

It looks like the Pro Controller will never work with these Wii digital releases as it will boot your system in Wii Mode. Bummer. Also, 480p max resolution.

Can anyone who is going to or has bought Mario Galaxy 2 on Wii U tell me, does it run in the wii channel at 480p in that blurry crud or have they made it so they run in 1080p without the wii channel, or at the very least without the wii channel.

The Nintendo eShop page lists 480p which really makes this offer suck if true. I suppose Dolphin is the only way to play this game anymore.

I think GiantButt.com would be a true game changer for all audiences.

I am anxiously awaiting sub-tier iOS and Android dev studios to slightly alter the sprites and release these as nostalgic "Indie-like" mobile titles.

I feel like SEGA or another developer could take some of the Yakuza systems and finally make a true Streets of Rage sequel where you are part of the "police" or "renegade street justice force" trying to take down Mr. X and his goons. Add in plenty of ham-fisted dialogue and optional dating side quests and you have the best tribute to Streets of Fire.

The "experience you deserve," why can't they just say, we didn't deliver on the experience "we promised" or even "intended." And this is coming from someone who is not effected by the busted online mp, I only bought it for the campaigns and splitscreen mp, but come on... make sure your game works before you release it. Or even give us a preemptive, "Listen this shit might be fucked..."

Never admit fault.

Does Steam have a feature for Early Access titles to have any kind of post-gameplay survey or bug reporting? I don't think the idea of Early Access is inherently wrong, but to make the whole thing more accountable on both ends should be ideal in the long run.

The entirety of Dirty Pair shares a lot of that Japan Golden Era optimistic hokey vibe. I totally recommend it and it reminds me a lot of Trigun in terms of featuring good natured, misunderstood deconstructionists.

Cyber City 808 is borderline 1990s but it is also a great OVA watch. The English dub is super corny too!
