I can see why people prefer the older games, but personally I like GTA V the best. I started playing San Andreas about a year before GTA V came out and never beat it because me and friends spent so much time dicking around.

Then I get GTA 4 a week before V came out and...eh. I got 1/4 through it and I probably would have beaten it but...

V is just so damn good. I may not be able to beat cops to death with a dildo, but I'll take better driving/shooting over that any day of the week. The older games still stand out because of this, but I like V the best, hands down.

Well that's sad to hear. But on the bright side, when you've written for GameSpot...your career isn't over. They'll bounce back for sure.

Hey guys.

I'm Ryan. I'm 16 and right now I live in North Carolina, but in a few weeks I'll be moving to Mississippi.

Right now I'm mostly playing games on my PS4, but I have been revisiting some old SEGA Genesis games I have lying around. I'm also a game journalist and write about videogames a lot. So I might talk about that from time to time.

Other than that, I'm a waiter and some of my interests include history, psychology, and sociology. :)

(PS: I see some of you like punk. I do too. Black Flag, TSOL, and Clash are some of my favorites).

I kind of like things the way they are right now. With most big, AAA games you usually get to make a choice. I could buy GTA V physically, or I could just download it straight to my PS3 if I want.

Personally, I tend to buy games in physical form. I like being able to actually touch my games and show them to my friends. It's nice seeing stuff I care about on the shelf.

The clutter thing really is an issue, though. I have nowhere to put my SEGA Genesis collection, so cartridges usually end up getting tossed onto my closet floor whenever I'm done.

For that reason (as well as being able to get some games way cheaper if they're bought off of PSN/eShop) I also try to buy games in a digital form from time to time.

Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty is pretty ballin', and I'm not even a fan of that series.

Also, Resogun. It's the game I keep coming back to for more.

Destiny. The entire marketing focus of the game has been on the multiplayer, and people are excited about playing with friends. Call of Duty games do a good job of holding attention for long periods of time, though. And the new one DOES look pretty cool.

The Battlefront games, for sure. And for what it's worth, the first Force Unleashed game was always nice, mindless fun.
