I forget, do people on Giant Bomb still like Game of Thrones? Is it safe to post here? I enjoyed the emispde and god damnit did they really build up that tension for the Dany/John meeting. Can't wait to see that. Crocodile ship was cool and that laugh will haunt my dreams and my god the greyscale scene was painful to watch.

I think I got the disc version at GameStop used for around 15 bucks. I would say that's the sweet spot. Played about 6 hours of it. Enjoyed what was there but there alhave been far too many games coming out to even considering making room for that one. I'll check in on it the next time I have time. On the plus side it's a great podcast game.

I agree with what a lot of people said here. I played for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or so and had a decent time. It seems like the input lag is a known issue so I can't really tell if the combat was just really bad or if that had a big part in my feelings of it. When i finished the demo though I came away with three distinct thoughts:

  • 1. The combat feels absolutely terrible, even if the goo gun is kinda neat
  • 2. The music seems pretty good, but the combat music cues at terrible times and is incredibly loud and obnoxious.
  • 3. The world and story are really intriguing. I would like to see more of this, I hope point number one improves throughout the game.

I really wanna see how this game reviews and what the input lag fix does to the gameplay. I think overall the game has some pretty great presentation, one that is absolutely comparable to the first Bioshock (that is a good thing). I was planning on ignoring this game but now it is on my list of games to watch as far as reviews and sales go. I'm also curious how the PC version is, the frame-rate was a solid 30 on PS4 which is fine, but I think having 60 fps and a mouse to aim may help with some of the combat issues I had.

Name: Dr. Sackman

Friend Code: SW-7098-7595-2985

Pretty much just Zelda and MK8 for now. Planning on getting Splatoon 2 though as soon as it comes out. I have no idea what the benefit is to having friends on the Switch yet but might as well have them I guess?

@mocbucket62: That Crash trailer is the distillation of a massive trash fire and children's nightmare wrapped tightly in unholy, unknown smut. They should arrest and detain the people who deemed that trailer "good to go" and separate them from the rest of human kind. Holy shit. HOOOOOLY SHIT.

@efesell: okay cool, I know these games are long but it gives me some relief knowing that I still have a shit ton to go through.

Really been liking the game so far, I don't necessarily mind them keeping you on a leash set the beginning, but I do hope things really open soon and I can explore and do things I see fit. The first two dungeons I really enjoyed and am a fan of the hand crafted dungeons. The first two felt remarakabky different and that's something I notice and appreciate. I hope it keeps up like that. I've actually had so much fun with them I've pretty much knocked them out in two or three days cause liked it so much. But man, do they just love to make these people the darkest of the dark. Kamoshida is a real shithole but maaaaan, they go the distance with Matarame as well.

Anybody know how many main dungeons their are in the game? I just beat the 2nd big baddie and his palace and am kinda curious how many more I have to tackle. I ask mainly cause I have the feeling like a lot of people that I wanna be cut loose for a little bit and fuck around in the town since I haven't had the chance to do so much
