"Don't be sorry, be better" is maybe my favorite of all time. The whole "ca-caw" conversation from Psychonauts is great, but I don't know if that counts as a quote. The most cringeworthy I can think of is DMC3's "jackpot." Ooh-boy that was rough.
Damn, dude. This is tough. Might be kind of a lame answer but those games are both so great that either way, you'll have a great time. Like @tobbrobb said, God of War might be a safer bet if you aren't wild about shit that's crazy hard.
Playing Nioh and really digging it. I've been hankering for that sort of joint since I finally got tired of Bloodborne after 150ish hours. Loving the stance mechanic, the visceral feel of the combat and the Japanese mythology. Good stuff.
Also getting close to finishing Persona 5. I've been playing that game for a good couple months now, and it's a little bittersweet to see it wrap up
@brunothethird: Grats. Any desire to play it on higher difficulties? Or did you already? I had a lot of fun doing that, even though the opening hours of GMGOW are utter bullshit.
Y'all remember the episode of the Beastcast where they were talking about weird miscellaneous habits everybody has? Dan said he sings a little song with the two syllable name of an object as the lyrics, and I found a real-world example in the Yakuza 0 playthrough. What better object than a "slime gun" to be the inspiration for Dan's angelic singing? Go to 24:50 to find it.
