I echo the sentiment that I'll watch anything with Vinny on. But one or two episodes would do it, there's no need to play so much Dreams

A lot of the songs so far are at least listenable, just to different peoples tastes. Yes you might not like Imagine Dragons, but they are actual songs, and some people like them. And then there is this pure garbage shit fire.

Like it has to be a joke. The blink parts are awful, they put out an album after this where they can sing and play so this has to be taking the piss. And the lyrics, and the ... the everything.... its ... oof

Slay the Spire is a good one

It's been the most disappointing year for GotY stuff in GB's history unfortunately.

The 15 hours of game recap seemed sterile, no real discussion on why they were being discussed I thought. At least last year they were on the fly adding them to categories which gave the process meaning.

The 2 cross coast videos were both great ideas but both executed very poorly. The lighting, set, audio, graphics etc, were all so subpar for what this site should be putting out. The group videos are by far the best content, and if there isn't enough time I'd like to see more time and focus being spent here than on sitting in the podcast room talking about games that have already been talked about with seemingly no focus.

There are a lot of good ideas in this thread, and I know a lot of people are only posting because they care. Hopefully this doesn't come across as whiny, but more that we want to product that we love to be better.

Also, no negative topics seems a bit odd. I don't want them to just argue about shitting on things, but generally the biggest dissapointment and hottest mess were good places to flex the fun and creative muscles on the team as well as taking some bad publishers to task and not having them is a big loss.

I hate that this always comes up in these discussions. The angle always turns into "oh we're not ready for this tech yet, the infrastructure isn't there yet, data caps, blah" but that's such an insular view.

I know in the US it's a hot button topic because the ISPs literally rule your country and nickle and dime you for shit, but it's not like that everywhere. The majority of Europe has great broadband speeds (9 of the top 10 highest average speeds in 2018 according got the BBC) and more importantly no caps, we're ready, bring Stadia and xCloud here.

Any actually good game will do. Altered Beast is f'n awful, it was funny for a few episodes but now it's just painful.

EDIT: Ok just watched the latest episode and it was hilarious, because they hate it and it's terrible. But still, it would be good to see a good game after this.

Maybe if there was a completely un-curated list of Amazon affiliate links on some back page somewhere that if you really wanted to you could go via to give them a few $ or or cents or however it works. Maybe. But still a bit shaky. I think they do fine on the sub money from the regulars in place of that and it doesn't compromise any morals

Filler games in a 20 game list is crazy, and including R6 and Persona (which are both bad) because the modern iterations are popular is just crazy.

No Tomb Raider, Gran Turismo, Wipeout, RE2, Tony Hawks, Crash, Spyro, Castlevania all glaring omissions. I know there's recent remakes but Crash & Spyro were literally platform mascots

They should change the name every episode, really keep people on their toes

If you are not price conscious, buy a 1080 or 1080Ti now.

If you are price conscious, wait until the 11 series cards come out and buy a cheaper 1080 or 1080Ti then.

Should do you 5 - 10 years minimum based on the rate of card releases and graphical improvements etc.
