I recently watched a video by AngryJoeShow and before I say anything I just want to disclaim that I do not follow him, I do not personally agree with him at all most of the time and most of all, I find his personality to be a bit abrasive and unpleasant BUT even past all this I was desperate to find someone who has parallel views on this game as I do and what do you know, I agreed with him on almost everything... The ui, the personalization, the progression, the menus, the lack of content... almost everything surrounding the actual gameplay just didn't make me feel this 'Battlefield'. Not to portray an angry forum dweller pitchfork army but... I actually canceled my pre order after this beta.

They made a darn good point, I've felt this way since Hardline removed tons of vehicles and features and content, and then right after that was the Fischer Price Battlefront 1, BF1, Battlefront 2 etc...

I ultimately liked BF1 a lot, but the lack of content was almost understandable there because it was WW1. I understood being more conservative on the amount of weapons you got etc. But this is WW2. This should be the biggest baddest coolest BF yet. It should be what 4 tried to be. The ultimate and best BF experience for everyone, right now. The beta appears to confirm the trend of less and less STUFF however...

If you love Star Wars and you know you're getting a short, not AMAZING shooter campaign with some pretty bad AI. These campaigns are NOT Call of Duty quality.

That said the multiplayer stuff, starfighter assault hero vs hero and galactic assault, are pretty good! Well worth full price to a Star Wars fan. (Now)

Legit one of the best trailers for a game I've ever seen. Up there with Skyrim. SO hyped and I thought I was over hype for games.

I stupidly assumed because this game is competing with the free to play Warframe there would be TONS of Javelin types.

Don't know why I assumed that.

You know, we have Destiny 1 and 2, we have a pretty good The Division, we have Borderlands three times over. We have Mass Effect four times over. We have Warframe.

Anthem is pretty cool, but MAAAAAN it suffers from diminishing returns syndrome right out of the gate BIG time. There's not a single thing in Anthem that looks unique and new in a way that blows my hair back. I was hoping for maybe a fantasy shooter like what original Destiny was going to be? Just for SOME unique hook at all... Instead it's just such a collection of shit we already have.

I don't WANT the... 5th? 6th iteration of this type of game? We don't need that. We needed something BIOWARE. A story based experience with the amazing LORE of a Dragon Age Origins. A UNIQUE setting that doesn't remind me of Mass Effect or other games. I'm not excited for Anthem and I don't see myself becoming excited.

Loved Origins but I gorged myself on it, and I doubt I'm good for more so soon. Also, Greece strikes me as a kind of glorified expansion pack like some of the earlier AC off year titles.

I think I'll do what I did with the franchise for a long while, which was to promise myself to sit it out and wait for Ancient Egypt to eventually happen. This time, I'll wait to jump back in for feudal Japan, unless Odyssey's reviews are INCREDIBLE.

I always have Syndicate that London one that I never did play that interests me quite a bit if I need some of that old school AC.

Jurassic Royale

Get the Jurassic Park license. The island you drop onto is Isla Nubar, full of tons of AI dinosaurs from relatively safe and friendly herbivores to all the vicious carnivores, including a HUGE extremely dangerous T Rex. So it's not just other players who are the threat, but AI enemies too to help give you something more to do than just farm stuff and run for 15 minutes at a time of boredom. Maybe you can kill and skin dinos, craft, whatever. The point is to give the gameplay loop something MORE.

As players die they spawn back as some kind of dinosaur Left 4 Dead style and can aid in the hunt of the remaining players.
