Got a kinda Risk of Rain vibe from the way the game looks.

Never seen soo many people get their panties in a twist over a single websites GOTY list, something which when it boils down to it, dosent mean anything.

@mems1224: The art design and graphics of both Destiny 1 and 2 are great.

I wish they would do a video version of this, like the West crew.

@sasnake: If you disagree then you should actually do so with a point, simply disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing is kinda pointless.

Did Jeff miss to show some critical part of the game where it doesn't play like a PS2 era remaster? What does this game actually do that no other game has done before it? He's quite right when he asks "What's the point of the setting when they don't do anything interesting with it?"

Brothers in Arms already had way more interesting and involved squad gameplay, in a WWII settings, already over a decade ago and that was from Gearbox. This CoD could really have used something like that, instead it looks like they've gone straight back to a walking simulator trough tubular level design.

That "new" objective based MP mode is pretty much just a rehash of Enemy Territory, another 10+ year throwback in game design and mechanics, what a bore-fest.

And where does Mario Odyssey not play like a N64 remaster? We can do this all day about pretty much every game.

Problem is, he only complains because this CoD isn't the same as the CoD he enjoyed. This CoD doesn't have jetpacks and wallrunning yadada, whine whine. I'm not a CoD player, but anyone with their eyes and ears open can see that this guy had a point.

What point did he have when he literally said "Jeff hates everything"?

As you've aptly demonstrated Jeff likes some things, other things not so much because they feel tired.

But it's quite dishonest to label this as "Jeff just hates everything" when quite many people have not been very fond of the WWII setting from the very beginning.

Maybe it's because some people are simply younger and missed that part of gaming history where literally every other game released was a WWII FPS, but I still remember that time and I'm not really missing it.

This game doesn't look like it does anything that makes me miss that time either, as such I can understand why Jeff considers it a rather bland experience.

Sure the social space stuff looks kinda fun, but that can't carry a game on its own. Especially not one where gameplay simply feels outdated due to having to go back on movement options to account for the setting.

"I agree with Jeff, therefore he is right". Alrighty.

God Jeff hates everything it honestly gets really annoying

There's probably no point in saying that he actually liked both Wolfenstein and Mario Odyssey as recent examples, because at this point this whole bit seems like a) tired trolling or b) posted by people who get unresonably angry when someone doesn't like the same games that they do, because obviously they can't now play and enjoy those game either.

Anyway, that's a shame to hear about the campaign. Even if CoD has done some crazy things in the past, I'd guess it's too much to expect a game series as big as this to get too wild with some of the darker themes of WW2.

Sure looks pretty, if anything.
