I've never played a God of War game, so I'm bringing no personal baggage to the game, and plan to pick it up when it comes out. I had no gripe with the previous iteration, but neither did it make me want to play it. I was a fan of the last of us, and a similarly more nuanced storyline, combined with a more deliberate combat system, in game that by all accounts is very good, made me think, that I should give this one a try.

They are additionally hiring a Lead Multiplayer Programmer, as well as additional Multiplayer Programmers.

Multiplayer support for Hitman does seem like the missing element that could make the seasonal model work. If that is the case, I would hope that you would be able to create your own character. Agent 47 has never had much of a personality anyway.

I wonder what Hitman Multiplayer would look like.

In terms of conference if that word even makes sense anymore would be Devolver Digital since it felt truly tuned in and it was just straight up really entertaining, but out these I will give it to Ubisoft.

Here is the Devolver Digital Conference:

@gerdoner: I think that was just the excuse they used to finally get accepted.

@gerdoner: They have been begging for participation since the contest started airing in 1983 in Australia. As far as I know they ended up making some kind of special 'Australia rule', where they are allowed to participate, but if they win, they will have to partner with a European country, because the contest still have to take place in the 'Eurosphere'.

Of course Israel is a bit of an anomaly too, but "I guess" they don't get on with their neighbors and still consider themselves to be European in many respects, since they also participate in a variety of European sport events such as Handball, at least when they have qualified.

@frytup: That kinda fits with the tweet they made in response to one of the inquires:

They couldn't really go 'back to making games' unless they had the right to be making said games. Unless of course they for some reason had moved on to another project, which seems highly unlikely. In any case, it sounds like they will have more to say on Monday.

@rahf: If the singer's didn't take it seriously they probably wouldn't be there. The show is a big deal, much more so for smaller countries as it gets them a lot of attention they wouldn't normally receive.

Maybe it is time for CD-Project Red to expand their catalog.

@thepanzini: "Numbers are from Steamspy if otherwise what else could/would IO Interactive say?"

Well, nothing usually. But yeah, that is a really bad look. I guess when you are living in these gaming media bubbles your perspective often becomes a bit distorted.
