Top 10 Games of 2022

Here's a list of the games I played and enjoyed in 2022.

List items

  • This game is just awesome!

  • I LOVE the TMNT!! This game is fantastic! A classic beat em up with a great, modern feel. Intro song is a great modern take on the original 87 theme we all know and love.

  • Figured out this game released on Steam recently along with the expansion (Zeus Official Expansion: Poseidon). I loved playing this game growing up and it still holds up to me today.

  • This is the most (bold and underline the word most) video game I've played this year. It feels like this game just goes and goes. Somedays I'm not even sure if I've made any progress towards completing the main story. It took me 111 hours to beat what I believe was the main story and some of the side DLC. According to the Ubisoft Connect launcher, I ended it at 98% Main Progression (not going back to do random 1 off missions), 65 was my player level, 4,530 total kills, and over 1,120,868 distance traveled. This game took some time go get through for sure.

  • A good time to have with some friends. Just like the initial Battle Royal craze, it was fun to try and get your first crown, beating out everyone else on your path to victory. A lot of close calls were had, but overall I had a fun time playing this one.

  • TVGC GameClub Podcast game

Minecraft except that it's IN SPACE!!!! This game was really neat to try and play with some friends. I would love to devote more time to it, but I'm just not sure if I'm ready to dive back into a deep game like that again.

  • TVGC GameClub Podcast game

What was originally a misremembrance of a game title turned into a rather interesting bit of time with this game. I stuck with the game for a few hours before it became a bit too much of a grind for what I wanted to play. Maybe I should dive back into it at some point to see if I can get any further into the story.

  • TVGC GameClub Podcast game

Oh what could have been. The bit that I did play this game seemed interesting, had Bioware gotten their stuff figured out while developing this game.

  • I have barely touched this game and it still deserves a high mention. Just scrolling through the box art and all the things included in this package were enough to help me take a good trip down memory lane. As it stands right now, I've only had this game open for 16 minutes on Steam.

  • What a buggy, POS game that I still cannot help myself from playing with friends. I guess it helps that this is one of the few games that I can play with a group of friends who game on different systems.

  • Honorable mention

    TVGC GameClub Podcast game.

This game deserves a shout out from me since I did install it on my PC and look at it a few times. I still have no idea what's going on in this game.
