@ryno9881: I just think it's weird that you would get hung up on a detail like that. By that logic every single character we encounter in this game is an horrible monster who can never be good. Even Dina kills people and is happy about it.
The WLF is a militia with such a strict code that Isaac is willing to kill one of his best soldier (Abby) at the first offense without even giving her a chance to explain herself. It's not like she had any choice but to say that she agrees with what they are doing.
The very first time she's confronted with a similar choice herself, she decides to risk literally everything she has to try to save those 2 kids she just met... Maybe i'm wrong but if that's not a redemption arc i don't know what is.
@shabz6662: genuinely curious, where does it mention that she's a doomsday prepper? I scoured through every collectible in the game multiple times because i wanted to know more about the seraphites and all i could find is that she was blaming the infection on the sins of mankind and the use of technology.
I hope they are more fleshed out in a DLC or a sequel because i thought the SCARS where by far the most interesting new faction introduced in the game and they have almost no lore explanation of where they came from and what they want.
@ryno9881: I'm confused as to why you find Abby iredeemable when the only reason she mentions those kids in the intro is to make her redemption arc more impactful. The whole point is to show that even tho she was raised in a terrible group like the WLF, she can still be a good enough person to make the decision of risking her life to save 2 seraphite children.
Of the 3 playable characters in this game Abby is by far the less evil.
