Unity was also smack dab in the era of community challenges and mobile tie in and all kinds of mess. It was a beautiful mess.
I hope the countering is not as difficult as Alex made it seem. Deft combat with dodges and counters depending on enemy types and weapon load outs are some of my favorite parts of the series. An elegant, skilled dualist is some of the best of AC.
WD2 has a lot of charm and heart. It's just silly enough to be a video game, but satires enough real things to be meaningful. Gameplay is fun and I enjoy the puzzleyness of it. And when all else fails, drop'em with your shotty. Well worth a play. They even made TAXI missions interesting.
Surprising amount of negativity here. I like that they're going for a really different setting. I guess if you don't like FC style games, then this is not for you, but I'm really interested in Primal more so than where 4 went given how similar 3 and 4 were.
I know this is more of the same with a skin conversion, but it does look like some good fun and gameplay. And collecting/upgrading always scratches that itch. CLEAR THOSE ICONS OFF THE MAP!
I also like that Ubi was willing to go in a weird, non-traditional setting for a Far Cry game.
This looks as great as I expected it to be. Love the dual quick look showing two different styles of play, as well. Nice job. It's like the anti-Brad QL.
