I've never had any drug-induced hallucinations. I was put under when my wisdom teeth were removed, but I just woke up disoriented after it was over.

I've only hallucinated during sleep paralysis, which is unpleasant enough on its own. It's worse when you think someone is chittering an inch from your ear like some sort of insect.

I agree with what Zack Scott said on the subject. Watching LP's of Dark Souls is what got me to play that game in the first place. Watching a person play a game is not the same as playing it yourself, especially not when commentary, editing, and video compositing are thrown in.
