Games that have totally dissapointed me.

Had such high hopes, but in the end were found lacking.

List items

  • The single player story was decent for most of the game but towards the end felt very rushed. But the whole game was based on a broken RTS wanna-be engine and one should never build castles on a foundation of sand.

  • The Japanese thought Americans were too stupid to handle RPGs, so they made this for us. Who's the stupid ones now?

  • MMORPGs at their heart are nothing but virtual reenactments of gerbils in metal wheels endlessly chasing nothing.. forever. No other game so proved this as Everquest, where you leveled up to get more powerful so you can level up in harder areas. DUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHH.

  • I came into the Quake series at #3 which was just multi-player. I had heard the Quake storyline was amazing and looked forward to see what this addition to the world brought with it. It brought me dying in rooms, restarting the save and knowing exactly where the enemies were and smoking them.

  • Took too long to come out. When it finally did other shooters were out that did it better and didn't feel like console games on PC.

  • I wish they could take back all the money they spent developing this game and gave it to the creators of Zombie Panic.

  • The death knell of the Final Fantasy series.

  • Same as Everquest, nothing to do in a world of super heroes. How the heck do you do that?!

  • I'm thinking that I should just stay away from old Id franchises.

  • I started the game, watched my sister die and then grew into a young man. Then I turned off the game and returned it to Gamefly.
