@jesna: I haven't moved to Chun, I just really like that outfit. Yeah I know the cr.MP is godlike, I'm just still inconsistent with my anti-airs. Thanks, it's weird, because I was stuck between Ultra Bronze and Silver for a while and then after FR I played a little and despite having not played for days I was winning way more and against better opponents, and suddenly it's a couple days later and I'm sat at 2900 LP, but it feels like now this is the next sticking point where I bounce around for a while.

I've also had a lot of issues with my DS4 momentarily not working which is super annoying and now that I'm playing better opponents more often is actually costing me. I'm not sure what the issue is since it's plugged in but I guess the fact that it isn't actually supported by the PC version might not be helping.

@hmoney001: given how it's been poorly run for ages, not really. People should be complaining, because it's not good enough. If nobody makes a scene then it just happens again next year and we have a premier event that is a fucking mess.

I also got to 3000 points then went down, went back up, then lost many, many matches in succession. I blame the march update not being out, come on capcom, i cant win without the security of knowing that I have the cop chun outfit.

@hassun: It was a pretty good win tbh, he tech'd like 3 throws at the end. He should've gotten AA'd when he walldived at the end though, pretty sure there was enough time.

Also Justin looked menacing in that game against Tampa, holy shit. Made him look like a scrub (which he is definitely not).

Glad people gave this du situation the attention it deserves as a common trend amongst people with suicidal thoughts is the feeling that nobody cares (which he says is how he felt), and this should make it easier for him to move past this. His tweet is weirdly a good sign because it indicates that he wanted to be helped. I sincerely hope the people supporting him right now are sensitive to mental health issues, as he really needs to know that it's okay to have felt how he did.

In cheerier news, I'm still bad at SFV but the other night after losing to the same Nash 3 times in a row after winning the first game against him (hello ranked in the UK at 3am), I resolved to win the next game against him, so I put a group Skype call I was in on hold, turned off all the sound, and proceeded to body him with the greatest of ease. I am a fearsome tryhard

I never got deep enough to get weapons that weren't just market BPs (never got enough parts to make a prime), so I can't rec much that's not in the market, and I've used a lot of stuff you've said you have. I will say that if you haven't put maxed out speed trigger on your boltor you haven't lived.

Also if you haven't noticed and read up on it, "coptering" got taken out, which still saddens me because I found it immensely fun, but there are other ways to traverse maps quickly now.

So I started playing last year on ps4, stopped, then returned a few months back on PC when I got my new rig. Also stopped playing after 40-odd hours for various reasons but got stuff done way quicker since I knew what I was doing this time.

My advice for weapons and frames is just try out whatever you can make and see how you like it. Most of my fun with the game has come from always having new stuff to try. My own experience with warframes that you haven't used:

mag - excellent vs corpus, has a cheap and effective CC, good for bosses

Volt - good for soloing due to high speed, which also makes it good for melee

Nyx - I love this frame so much, CC is very good (unless it was nerfed at some point). Super fun to use as you get to mind control enemies or just make them all attack each other, which in survival makes for a whole lot of beautiful chaos.

For farming credits, have a google and you'll find the most efficient uses of your time. I personally just do whatever survival and defence stuff comes up as I'm going through planets, though if I want to do a big farming session I'll go into chat and find someone who's doing void stuff. The community generally seems pretty helpful so sometimes if you're partied up with a higher level player they'll just take you through some higher end stuff for a while and you'll rack up the credits and resources.

I kind of want to get back into it now...

So I've still been playing but not every day and not for as long. Of course, I've still been getting matched up with people I shouldn't be and the rollback is still real (I beat one guy twice in very laggy circumstances and when he popped up a third time I just quit before the match started cause fuck that noise).

I had to play cobelcog again a couple nights ago and his cammy is so damn clean. He just pushed me into the corner so easily and then the throw barrage began (he really, really likes to throw). Even after I teched a couple he still continued to throw the fuck out of me. I guess the real deterrent would've been ex grabbing him but I didn't even think to go for it at the time. He does stream so I'd rec watching him for anyone interested in high level cammy play.

Returned from anime hiatus to watch Millennium Actress and damn if Mr Kon didn't do it again. It's been a week but I'm still thinking about it. Despite his style and how trippy his stuff can get his movies still manage to be so human and relatable. I'm also a big fan of how much running he always includes and how it's actually well-animated.

Also started reading Helck, and Helck is pretty cool guys, both the manga and the character it's named after. So far it's managed to keep itself moving while also developing characters and their relationships, doing some decent world building, setting up some intrigue and being delightful and charming despite how much conflict is involved.
