@davidfox1983: Sure, but again, he did stuff like this at GB (but only as far as the rest of the crew allowed it), e. g. by promoting his books. Also think of stuff like "what would you guys pay me if I do X", but now it's not adressed to coworkers, but Twitch viewers. And yes, those moments might have been in jest, but he would have actualy done "X" 90% of the time and have taken the money.

Thus I think he'd always have done what he's doing now, at GB also, if he just could have.

Not going to comment on what I actually think of Dan doing this stuff, but has anything really changed? He was always self promoting and trying things somewhat akin to "get rich quick" schemes.

He has used his internet fame in his favor multiple times while at GB and for example has always promoted his books etc.

Thus the Twitch stuff just seems to be him being true to himself, as always. Again, not commenting on if that's a good thing or not, just stating a fact.

That new topspot is waaaaay to big now. It looks cool, but I hope you'll resize it again, everything's pretty much too big already anyway.

@jesus_phish: Okay, that's cool then and certainly something I'll check out, but I still think it will also need more maps (I know they've said there'll be more, but only a bit farther down the line), modes etc to truly sustain a big player base.

After playing this for about 8 to 10 hours or so I can say just two things about it.

1) It's good. It feels great to play, it's smartly designed and the characters are just different enough to make them feel unique.

2) I don't think that it has any lasting legs in it's current form whatsoever. There's no real progression, the lootboxes are mediocre in general and the costumes you can unlock from them are just boring (this certainly isn't Overwatch), the map is very small and there's only a single mode (which makes sense, but still).

Bit of a shame, but I doubt I'll play a ton more until some updates start hitting.

I'm really loving it so far after about 20 or so matches (and 2 wins). It definity plays better than PUBG and I really like the 3 man squads, since the smart communication stuff even makes it playable with randoms.

Sadly it keeps on crashing on my PS4 since yesterday evening, either in the character select or the match itself (it fucking crashed in the final shoot-out between my squad and the one other remaining team). Hopefully they'll hotfix this soon.

I'd certainly love to see some competitive stuff again. That always brings out the best (and worst) in everyone.

I don't really have any suggestions for a game though. Maybe just do a lot different one offs.
