Couldn't get into it when it came out, gave it a real shot later on and thought it was OK. I still like OoT more, but I can definitely see why people liked it so much. It's for sure the most unique Zelda, I just think that I go to that series for a more guided experience and the main appeal of Majora was the crazy openness.
I also got stuck at the underground factory password, but the hint for that IS in the game. Just know going in that you do have to pay attention to all the weird computer stuff, because it serves a purpose at some point. The rest of it didn't give me a problem.
I'll happily admit the end of this made me cry. I didn't think it was perfect, I even saw the ending coming, but the realization I'd have to dial in one last time...fuck. That did me in.
The part where Emelia ended up being an AI turned me off a bit, but this was easily overshadowed by how I empathized with some of her plight early on (one message in particular, about not knowing where to go and being lost and confused, really got to me). I thought it was kind of meh that you had to send her to her death at the end, then I realized that I'd have to dial in one last time...that fucking broke me down. I cried. This game is amazing.
