The only fuss about the game is how great it was around it's release. And it was a great game. If you can stand playing PS1 era games (i.e. - if you're someone who isn't a real game-snob), then I'd definitely say it's worth a play.
Motherboard: Asus P5Q SE Plus CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4ghz RAM: 4GB Patriot Viper DDR2 1066mhz GPU: Radeon HD 4870 1GB PSU: Enermax 550 W Case: Antec Performance One - Black Operating System: Windows 7 RC
I get a significant increase in play time playing games straight from a memory stick. If the battery is indeed smaller, you may not see a significant increase. Unless they managed to fit the same amounf of battery power into a smaller battery...
I don't know any specifications for the Go yet, though.
To start, I'm currently running the Windows 7 Beta...
EDIT: Oh, I'm also running Firefox 3.
When I try to upload any image from my PC, it will show the upload box and say, "Uploading...", with a small square with "10%" in it. After a couple of seconds, it gives me a "Server (I/O) Error" and another box pops up saying "Oops, no images were selected."
Yes I selected an image...
This goes for any image I select on my computer.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this error? If so, is there a fix? Is it Windows 7 related?
"Where's my post? It just disappeared or never showed up. Weird.
Well I was responding to the OP, and what I said was, Affirmative Action is retarded. You can't fix racism with more racism.
"
Okay I'll make a note that we should just let black people and latino people have fewer chances than white people to be doctors and lawyers and politicians and get into good schools, even if they are just as qualified"
What I'm saying is that they SHOULD have the same opportunities. If the white guy is more qualified, he should be accepted before the black guy. If the black guy is more qualified, he should be accepted before the white guy. You shouldn't accept a minority that is less qualified than a white guy just because you "already have enough white people". Going to a top-notch school like MIT or Harvard takes a lot of hard work.
They shouldn't accept less qualified people just to add diversity to their statistics. If a white guy has a 4.5 and a black guy has a 4.0(like the OP stated), they should accept the white guy first, if everything else is the same(as in about the same difficulty of the school they previously attended, same extra-curriculars, etc.) If the black guy gets rejected, he could surely get a full scholarship to a great out-of-state college with those grades. The white guy worked just as hard, if not harder, for his higher grades, so he shouldn't be punished just because the school wants to add diversity at the cost of accepting less qualified applicants.
"
That's how it should be, for the most part, but that's not how it is. It all depends on the person in the end. Is the white boss willing to hire the black guy even if he's more qualified than the white guy? and vise versa? If I were the boss, I'd hire who's most suited for the job, whether they be black or white (or any other color for that matter). But that's not the way everyone thinks.
I've actually been signed up for a while... Just never posted anything. I don't know why... But yeah, I don't think I'll see the end of affirmative action in my lifetime. America may be considered the melting pot of the world, but right now it's like mixing oil and water. "
It is not and by far. Latin America is way more varied and doesn't have such a segregated society. "
OK, America is supposed to be. There isn't any segregation in this country, though. Different cultures/nationalities tend to group with each other, but are not forced to or recommended to.
"By today's standards affirmative action shouldn'tbe needed. But racism still exists whether it be white-on-black, or black-on-white (I believe these to be the main focus of racism in America), even if it's "sub-conscious," so it is still needed.
Give it another generation and I think affirmative action will be unnecessary, and will be abolished. If not abolished, it will be looked at as one of those dumb ass old laws like, "Check forgery can be punished with public flogging up to 100 stripes," and not taken seriously. "
It might take two geneations, but I think you are absolutely right.
By the way, welcome to Giant Bomb. we need more smart people
