It's been ages since I last updated this part of my profile (last updated this part of my profile back in 2012), so here goes nothing.

My name is Will, and I have been gaming ever since I was just five years old. I enjoy gaming, reading, writing, designing race cars for NASCAR 2003 Racing Season in Photoshop, reading manga, watching anime, and photography of various subjects (favorite ones are nature, racing, and landscapes).

My History In Gaming (1995 to Present):
My first handheld was an original Nintendo Game Boy from my grandmother with the games Super Mario Land, Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan, and Tetris. My first gaming console was a SEGA Genesis that my parents bought for me with the games Sonic the Hedgehog, Bonkers, Echo, and Taz-Mania.

My second console was a Sony Playstation that I got in 1997 for Christmas from my grandmother. I got a Nintendo 64 the following year (1998), and started playing different games for both consoles. Spyro the Dragon, MediEvil, and the Crash Bandicoot games for the PSOne were my favorite games, while Pokemon Stadium, Super Smash Bros, Super Mario 64, and Hey You, Pikachu! on the Nintendo 64 were my favorite games. I also got a Nintendo Game Boy Color in 1999 from my parents, and thus I got into the handheld Pokemon games (Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition).

With the arrival of the next decade (2000's), I got my Sony Playstation 2 for Christmas in 2000. My grandmother got me a Nintendo Gamecube the following year (for my 11th birthday in the fall of 2001), and I found myself busy gaming on both consoles along with spending time with my Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Advance SP. I gamed with all four consoles/handhelds on a consistent basis up until 2006. That is when I sold my Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Advance SP in order to get out of handheld gaming (was not interested in the Nintendo DS).

It was 2006 is when I got my Sony Playstation 3, after saving up for months in order to help my parents purchase it (chipped in $275 towards it). The Playstation 3 was the first console that got me into playing RPG games, which I still enjoy to this day. I picked up The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in 2007 and thus began my enjoyment of the games Bethesda Game Studios made (followed by Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim). I picked up a Nintendo Wii in the spring of 2007, and played various games on it over the following four years that it worked.

I picked up a Nintendo Wii U for Christmas in 2012. In 2013, I saved up enough money to pick up a Sony Playstation 4 when it launched towards the end of the year. I then picked up the Playstation 4 Pro in the spring of 2017 in order to play Horizon: Zero Dawn at its highest quality. I gave my old launch-day PS4 to my little sister, who now games with it on a frequent basis. I picked up an old Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) for cheap in 2016 and messed around with it for a year before it broke and I stopped using it. I also picked up a Sony Playstation Vita in the early months of 2017, but after not using it much over the span of a year, I sold it to Gamestop in August of 2018.

As of writing this (December 2018), I have yet to own a Microsoft gaming console (never owned the original Xbox, Xbox 360, or the Xbox One). In terms of gaming on computers, I currently game with a roughly $1,350 gaming PC that I got for Christmas 2017 from my parents for all of my hard work on the ranch they own over the course of that year. I used to game on my old $1,995 27" iMac Intel Duo Core i3 computer from 2009 to 2016, but it started having issues with the graphics card and I stopped using it for gaming after 2016.

As of December 2018, you can find me gaming on the following platforms/consoles:

  • Playstation 4 Pro (70% of my gaming time is used with it)
  • Nintendo Switch (10% of my gaming time is used with it)
  • Gaming PC [Acer Predator G3 16GB Intel i7 Nvida Geforce 1070 3GB] (18% of my gaming time is used with it)
  • Playstation 3 (replacement 60GB "fat" model from 2011, still runs and plays games, but not very well) (around 2% of my gaming time is used with it, mainly due to fears of it finally dying on me)
