@naru_joe93: all digital future? What does this have to do with a digital versus a disc version of the game?

I think Raptr would let you build a profile around digital/retail games, from steam and consoles, not sure if this would exactly fit your needs, but may be a good place to start.

Raptr doesn't work with PS4 or XBox One games.

GFWL is about to die and From Software has publicly stated and shown their ineptitude with PC games. They haven't announced any plans to covert Dark Souls over to Steamworks like other GFWL games like Batman or BioShock 2. Valve has no problems with desisting games that no longer work as advertised. Basically the multiplayer and achievements would be removed and the game might not start at all when GFWL stops working. Wouldn't this cause Valve to remove Dark Souls from their store?

It matters as long as you aren't blind and can see the difference between 1080p and 720p or 60 fps versus 30 fps.

...then again I own both. So fuck it. Its good to have a career and a large disposable income from a lack of underage money eaters.

So much text for such a simple problem. The first thing Conan says is he doesn't like, care about, or play games. At the end he gives a meaningless "score". Clueless gamer isn't a review show. Its a commercial at best. Companies pay tv shows to run commercials.

Still not interested. The cities are still too small to not feel frustrated in. I don't want to build Manhattan, Reno, and Hollywood. I want to build Megacity 48 god damn it. I think I may try the Cities XL series and see if that's any good.

Who knows? Assuming you exceed the 5 Mbps minimum speed. we would need to find out more details on the subscription and rental plans they mentioned.

Paying for the service and then paying again to rent the game is a bad deal. It's why On-live failed and it doesn't make me hopeful for this service.

Oh, I fully expect this to fail. This is an excellent point you make, but just how much bandwidth do you need for the streaming for it not to lag and/or have poor image quality.

This is feel-good nonsense so they can look like they give a crap about BC for the first year or so. I give it that long to end up like gameroom.

From IGN:

"Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Now will be a subscription-based service -- though whether it will tie-in to existing subscriptions like PlayStation Plus remains to be seen -- and will support online multiplayer and Trophies. Players can also opt not to subscribe and rent games on a by-game basis."

It looks like you can subscribe OR rent individual games. It doesn't look like both.
