Like how far are we from just hearing 'This looks like a PS2 game!'

That exact comment was made in the stream archive's comments. I really want the hyper-powered PS2s that these folks seem to have. Must have been incredible to own future tech at console prices.

As disappointing as the stream was, I can't help but feel a little hype anyway. I mean, it's Mass Effect, and I love being in that universe.

If nothing else, it's got me playing the others again. I had aborted a PS3 playthrough last year because *yikes*, the PS3 versions are rough, and I had been wanting an excuse to start again.

Basically, it mirrors the plot of Breaking Bad almost exactly, except replace "meth" with "video game coverage", and increase the body count considerably. Oh, and instead of Jeff's brother-in-law being a DEA agent, it's actually Jack Thompson. Aaaand... Dr. Tracksuit is his Heisenberg? None of this holds up to scrutiny, in hindsight.

No Magical Tetris Challenge? No 101 Dalmatians Print Studio!? (yes, I know that one isn't Capcom)

Also, in thinking about Disney games just now, it occurred to me that Epic Mickey was seven years ago this November and we're all speeding toward the grave holy shit I swear I was commenting on the pre-release concept art for that game on Kotaku just a couple of years ago...

Edit: Oh god, Giant Bomb turns 10 next year what the fuck.

So glad it's hitting Plus. I'm interested, but I never would have bought it on account of the eye strain that the art style gives me. Now I can mess around with it and try to get used to it (if the game's worth getting used to) without buyer's remorse if I have to ditch it after an hour.

Oh, for fucking out loud. Granted, these are the folks that will flip out over absolutely everything, from issues of actual importance to mom buying the wrong flavor of Hot Pockets, but what is it about throwing chickens and fighting a pig guy (sorry, I never liked Zelda, so my knowledge of it is limited) that creates such rage-filled obsession?

DDR (any of 'em) and... shit, umm... Initial D 4, because I like crazy cabinets, and a game where the controller is literally an actual car? I'm all over that. Don't even care if the game's good.

The second, I barely have memories of besides the fact that it was a creative game (that may or may not involve designing), white background (idk if that even helps) and two main characters. If anyone is willing to help me out that'll be highly appreciated!

This is a long shot, but I immediately pictured The Incredible Toon Machine (aka Sid & Al's Incredible Toons).

Putzed around with Disc Jam off and on today. Really fun game. Just a whole lot o' jammin' in ways legally distinct from the jammin' one would associate with wind.

That is fucking bizarre. I'm into it.

I like Harmonix's current "experimental" phase, and I hope it works out for them. Music VR got a tepid response, but I thought it was cool as hell.
