  • I bought this at full price, day one and then proceeded to put 80 hours into it. I am ashamed of my words and deeds.

  • Sometimes a game's atmosphere just grabs you and won't let you go until you've seen it through. That's how I felt with this one.

  • Some amazing moments strung together with some top notch gunplay. Nothing quite like running into a room with two big ass shotguns and blowing everything to smithereens.

Cliffhanger endings can be tricky in games but this one really nails it. Can't wait for the follow up.

Also you can fight a member of the KKK, a nazi and a giant mech all one level.

  • Hit em' with a montreal screwjob.

  • A must play Rogue-whatever for anyone who likes taking a virtual pounding.

  • I really like the Alan Wake stuff in this game but besides that...the shooting was okay.

C'mon Remedy. I love you. You can do better.

  • Me and all my friends are incompetent chefs and being drunk totally has nothing to do with it.

  • Still the best game ever made

  • My heart was literally racing during (a few of) the credits because I wasn't ready for the game to end.

  • I'm a little rusty, but I still got the moves.

2018 hour count: around 520 hours.

  • Thought I would enjoy this more than I did. Story was unfulfilling and the battle system was so blasĂ©. On the plus side, another FF game off the checklist.

  • I technically played most of this in 2017 and just beat sephiroth in 2018. Either way, it's filling out this list.

  • Surprised at how much I enjoyed this compared to the first game (which I did not finish).

Story was kinda meh and enemy variety was lacking but I still enjoyed it enough to see it through.

  • Didn't enjoy this as much as 2 but I can't put my finger on why. Either way, this is still a fantastic game.

  • This game nails everything. Looks, feel, sound. It gets everything right.

I told myself I wouldn't move on from a boss until I A ranked it and I succeeded. Now for those S ranks...

  • "50,000 people used to live here. Now it's a ghost town"

I'm surprised at how many quotes I remembered while replaying this remaster. My interest in the Call of Duty may be at an all time low right now, but this remaster really reminded me of how much I loved this game back in 2007.

  • Really enjoyed the more cinematic elements this game added to the Go formula. While not as much content as Hitman, the short time I spent here was sweet.

  • This game was god awful. But hey, It did have connect 4 in it. and connect 4 is A-OK.

  • While I prefer the more open world crime game focused saints row games, I can't deny how much fun it is being a superpowered badass.

  • All those years staring at the london underground map finally coming in useful. Well, not really but it's simple and pretty and i liked it.

  • A bit different from the previous Dead Rising games but I still enjoyed it. A huge map and an impressive amount of zombies on it. Not as replayable as the other games, which is a shame.

  • 19/06.

A surprisingly excellent Batman game. In terms of gameplay, this might be the best Batman game (note: I played Arkham Knight on the PC so my experience was kinda fucked there from the start). The story isn't bad either, delving into some interesting character points for Batman. Villain diversity isn't quite as good as previous games and the story ultimately comes and goes but the Batman combat is still unparalleled in video games.

Holy cow Doom is good. I got frustratingly lost many times (I resorted to Breaking Brad to finish one particular level) but had a blast regardless. Bring on Doom Eternal!
