Chat got me hyped to make a list of my 10 favourite games but then I added too many and thinking about the order is really making my head hurt and oh god

The only game I replay every year. I have a lot of nostalgia for this one, some of my fondest memories are of playing this with my mother.

My first experience with a more old school styled RPG and I immediately fell in love with the genre.

There's a reason they keep re-releasing this awesome game. Even in 2018, I'm still playing and still discovering cool new stuff.

This game simultaneously made me feel like the smartest and dumbest person on the planet.

DS1 I enjoyed but played over a 2 year period. DS3 i played right after 2, so I breezed right through it. DS2 was the perfect balance of me not being good at the game and having enough free time to bang my head against it.

My farm was organised and neat. Everything was perfectly aligned and tiled. One day I looked upon my industrialised farm and realised I was no different than Jojo mart. I burnt it down and let nature run its course, so i could return to what my grandfather wanted for me.

I only started playing this because it was one of the handful of games that ran on my laptop but 100+ and a new PC later I still load this up from time to time.

This might as well be be a placeholder for Civ III, IV or V. The most recent game in this franchise is always installed on my machine so I can lose 10 hours to a game I won't finish. And I'm OK with that!
