Great point. Ryan's passing is terrible but it doesn't hurt to value the awesome people here in the present.

My sentiment exactly, I'd love us to show them the same appreciation now.

Sometimes when we mourn the dead we forget about the living.

Ryan Davis had a profound affect on my life. His voice pulled me through depression, the death of my father and uncle, and gave me joy when I needed it most. Damn, all I had to do was hear that laugh and I was grinning. His death made me evaluate my life, and I have decided to give my writing another shot, after giving up, which he would never have done. Ryan was amazing.

But what Ryan did, he did not do alone. He did it surrounded by a crew of equally amazing guys, and I am not willing to wait for their passing to share my love and admiration for them.

So, Jeff, Brad, Vinny, Drew, Dave, Alexis, Alex, Patrick, and Rorie, I would like to thank you all for the joy and entertainment you have given me over the years. I would like you all to know how much I appreciate your work, and to let you know how many rough times you pulled me through.

You are all incredible human beings who I respect enormously. I love all you guys and thank you so much, you have made me and my life so much richer.

I apologize if this offends anyone, or seems to soon, but I just felt the need to say it. And I wanted to start this thread so we can show all the other guys our love.

Awesome, but why do we never see shit like this for people until they die? We need to celebrate people more while they are alive.

Because you don't fully appreciate the significance of someone or something until it's ripped out of your life. It's human nature.

True. Such a shame though. So I would like to say that I think Jeff, Brad, Vinnie, and Patrick are all awesome and as much of an influence on my life as Ryan was. I love you guys as well. <>

~Hugs~ Rorie. You and the other Duders just look after yourselves, don't worry about us. <>

Told my mother and sister, who were both very empathetic. My father died when I was 20, and Ryan's death brought back a lot of those emotions, and both were amazing about just listening to me ramble about this amazing guy off the internet I never met.

~Hugs~ Thought I'd be over it by today, but nah, it still sucks. This feels almost as bad as when my father died, and I never even met Ryan. So strange.

This really does sum up how I went through today, from the tears, to the empathy for the other Duders, and the feeling of silliness because I didn't know him. But who cares, I loved the guy. RIP, mate.
