If I see something I want to play, I usually buy it and play it. If I see something I want to play more than the other thing, I buy that instead and wait to buy the 'less interesting' game. The only time this becomes a problem are in times like these, where we're spoiled with quality games. Then I just have to make a judgement call of when I play the games, because I typically buy them at the same time. For instance I picked up Horizon and BotW in the same week, but I decided to clear Horizon first because I had already started on it.
Nintendo is awful at keeping things stocked, just keep checking back. They've still got some titles dropping on the 3DS that are likely to be pretty popular, so I wouldn't go off the deep end and start worrying that they're going to stop supporting the platform just yet.
No, but I wasn't looking to buy it right out of the gates to begin with. Bioware's recent handling of the IP has left me with a sour taste in my mouth, and all the footage/trailers/etc I had seen had not washed it away. Ironically the terrible animations and the internet's reaction to them almost convinced me to buy it and play through the trainwreck myself, but I decided against helping the game's sales.
Might still play "Bioware's worst RPG" way down the line, but i'm in no rush.
So the glitches and animations seem to be as bad as they appeared to be, along with the bland fetch quests (like the Inquisition quests) bogging it down further.
Not surprising based on the footage we've seen and early word of mouth.
Dragon Age Inquisition was a 5/10 game for me, pretty average. Balanced out the spots of brilliance with a few really dull points in the game. From what i've heard about Andromeda it mimics a lot of Inquisition's questing (which I was bothered by) so i'm interested to see how it scores.
Not to mention the terrible animations we've been subjected to so far.
