Just a quick remark with regards to Danny's point about dog racing not being fixed or difficult to fix, it's an incredibly shady sport, a lot like horse racing albeit a little less corrupt, in order to fix a race a trainer will simply overfeed their dog before a race, no drugs or doping involved.
I kind of expected that there was going to be a bit more of a structured discussion to things? Having listened to one or two other spoilercasts on the game (Kinda Funny being especially good, VICE, yikes), personal opinions aside about the game and it's perfectly okay to dislike and criticise it, this was kind of a mess to listen to.
I'm not one to complain about features and I generally enjoy most things the guys put out but this really is dreadful to watch, I get that people are enjoying the train wreck of it all and I can see that side of things but it's really a slog to sit through and watch, perhaps this feature worked better in theory than it does in actuality.
Every time a new expansion comes out and this game starts getting some people talking about it I feel the urge to play it again.
Absolutely me 100%, I actually reinstalled yesterday and messed around with a few characters with their free up to Level 20 thing that they have going and kept umming and ahhing, should I buy BfA, will I regret this purchase immediately after, I'm basically looking for an excuse to play again.

Gonna have to side with dan and everyone else on this one, the combat in this game is hot garbage for what the rest of the game is. Gets in the way of the more enjoyable parts of the game.
Still hoping they'll just slowly fade out doing this series though, or maybe it's already all recorded so they don't have to spend time making it anymore.
Especially with reading peoples responses in the comments, I sometimes wonder how the GB crew continues on.
I've played every game in the series and the combat is terrible in all of them, always has been, it's never been the games selling point, Yakuza 0 just happens to be the most accessible outta the lot so if Dan is having no fun with it now or it's starting to grate on him the older games (if they get there) are going to really suck to play through, if you've played one Yakuza game, you've basically played them all.
That said I still enjoy the videos though so long as they're having fun with it, play the game for the over the top story and dumb side stories, the clunky ass combat that comes with it is just part of the Yakuza package.
