On a side note, this might’ve been the shortest Bombcast ever.

Such a weird day. I just got off my first day of work at a new job, saw the news, and have been mulling over it for a few hours now. Thinking about how GB and it’s core staff has been a constant the last 12 years of my life. How my life, and me as a person, has changed over that time.

Their content entertained me so much and for so long that it’s gonna be a quite an adjustment to possibly no longer witness Vinny’s astounding humor and charisma, Brad’s relaxing voice and ‘come here, you’ catchphrase, and Alex’s straight-faced and salty sense of humor.

Bit late to this but for skin care, I use Bulldog products. They’re affordable, come out of the UK, and don’t have any chemicals or harsh cleaners in them. They’ve got a great face wash, face moisturizer, and eye bag reducer. There’s even a sensitive skin line as well.

They also make a face scrub but I’m not sure how useful it is. I didn’t notice a difference, positive or negative.

Nivea’s aftershave balm can also be used as a face moisturizer. A lot of women use it as their base. Again, there’s a sensitive skin version that doesn’t contain any alcohol.

Another thing to think about is shaving. Electric razors and multi-blade disposables can be rough on skin. Several years ago I changed to a safety razor and my skin have looked and felt much better. Not to mention it’s cheap as hell. Two years worth of razor blades is like $13.

The only problem is deciding which razor to go with and then finding the best blade for you can take some trial and error.

As for pits, a topical with retin A works on that.

Oh good. It was so long since the last one that I thought they’d given up on it.

Man that dialogue, oof! It’s so bad that I kinda want Brad and Alex to suffer through it for our amusement.

@haneybd87: then there’s the California and South African variants, along with others that may form in the future and the significant number of anti vaxxers out there who say they’ll never get the vaccine.

Not surprised that Ubi’s HR dept knew about the shit that was going on there and didn’t report it. HR, especially in a corporate setting, is predominantly there to protect business from lawsuits.

@discohippoletsgo: I live in rural ass WY and even here corona virus is definitely something to worry about. And not every business is shut down, people working jobs labeled essential have to work, often with little to no extra benefits despite the risk they’re facing.

Also, where did I say all the anti lockdown protestors are evil and stupid? I do think that some legitimately want to go back to work but that shouldn’t be at the expense of forcing others to risk the health and/or lives of themselves and their family.

Corps and the rich got massive bailouts with little to no strings attached. Why not the rest of us? Why are we the only ones who have to live with rugged individualism when the rich and corporations get to socialize their costs while privatizing their gains?

@chaser324: exactly this. The anti lockdown protesters weren’t demanding a universal ubi (like countries like Canada are enacting during covid), m4a (like every developed nation has had for decades), or other protections such as no lay offs with most or all employee pay being subsidized by the gov during this pandemic.

Instead all of the gop and a good amount of dems voted to bailout the corporations and the affluent while giving the rest of us crumbs of crumbs. But instead of protesting that, the anti lockdown people are protesting for businesses to open, forcing working class people to risk their lives for their livelihood.
