A good book that details the militarization of policing is Badges Without Borders by Stuart Schrader. It’s about what the US did after WW2 with military personnel and resources, profiting through training other countries in stamping out civil unrest and such. Afterwards those tactics were then imported into policing in this country.
I'm grabbing it on release. From what I've seen the battle system looks fine and not the convoluted mess (imo) that was XCX and XC2. I'm gonna probably also give 2's dlc a try as well since it's battle system was worked on with new players in mind and the story/characters are supposed to be better than what was offered in the base game.
Hey duders, I ran across this gofundme on the Majority Report reddit. It’s a donation page for someone who suffers from muscular dystrophy and is quadriplegic.
He would like to get a mouse that he can use along with a pc capable of playing games and art. He is also asking for advice on modifying things such as a controller to use with his chin.

I live in WY so it’s not pressing but there’s some crazies out here already who bought Walmart out of hand sanitizer, tp, and paper towel over the weekend. Like others have mentioned, when it gets here I’m gonna be concerned mainly because of my grandma, parents, and elderly relatives. One of the few times living in a rural area of a rural state is a blessing.
If this was it’s own series it would be in the top 3 but you still need to check out some of the UPFs from this year for ‘Business Dave’s Top 10 Lists.’
I played for a bit when it came out but decided to put it to the side until a few patches were released. In the meantime I played, beat, and thoroughly enjoyed The Surge 2.
I then went back to Fallen Order and immediately wanted to go back to The Surge 2. Exploring isn’t good; there’s too much platforming, especially the downhill parts, and the collectibles are underwhelming.
As others have mentioned, there’s lag in the combat and animal enemies feel like they’re from a different game. Your character also moves too slow and your dodge is too short.
Maybe I’ll come around but I don’t know. I just got to a point on the return to Kashyyyk where the game throws three big ass arachnids at you along with a sheep slug and they all bull rush you. Taking that into account with the above mentioned issues and it just felt tedious.
Update: Ok, I got further in where you get some more upgrades and the story picks up and am enjoying it more. Fighting the animals is still the weakest part of the game (aside the game’s streaming issues) but I’m having a much better time than before.
