By the way, I'm sorry I got in as a spectator. I had my client set to auto-retry.

I was part of the problem this week without intending to. My bad!

Not too surprising. I don't think this will ever be seen again, though, which is disappointing.

The conference two years ago was so bizarre that I don't know how they'd top it. I can only hope it somehow involves Tak Fuji and Mega64 again.

I can understand not wanting to give specific details on the game you're trying to create. Once they become public, you run the risk of intellectual theft.

The thing is, you're trying to appeal to investors looking to back your game. Ambiguity is not going to help in these situations. Without a distinct and reputable personality in the industry to back your game idea up (like Tim Shaffer and Double Fine), your pitch is going to seem like a scam. Unfortunately, this project willl have to serve as a lesson to others.

Investor meetings are one thing, but we'll just have to see what they show. I know what I'd want out of them is a better focus on their online experience and marketplace. What I'm expecting to get, however, are three things that either say "Wii-" or "Nintendogs+" on it.

I hope I'm wrong.

You could go half-way and make a news post containing links to various other stories of interest. It would appease the people who'd these stories interest, help to bolster your presence in the community with other sites, and the format would keep those who'd have the whole "not news" mentality from getting too angered by this.

I still can't log into my account, but at least it's not a data breach. It's disconcerting that one blackout can cut access to Steam given the large amount of server farms Valve has.

I had already made my purchase due to one of my friends egging me on when the GB crew started hyping the game. Their enjoyment of it may have helped me look forward to it, but I wouldn't say I built my entire perception of SR3.

It has some really great moments that are some of the best that I've played in a few years, but it felt as though they were running out of steam near the end. I wasn't entirely disappointed, but the stuff that they did hype stood out far more for me than the second-to-last mission. So, I guess it was just the right amount of hype?
