I was on the fence but the QL definitely made me want to wait for a sale. It seems neat or "nice" but not something I'm going to pay $20 for. I've paid less for games with more involved mechanics and longer lifespans.
That's a really stupid way to look at it. If someone releases a game that costs 5$ that's super complex and can give you like 100 hours of gameplay, would that just mean you wouldn't buy any other game ever that costs more than that?
Kinda reminds of GRAW 2 in the way it straddles the line between Arma & BF how's the controller support or did I miss them mention it
There's no controller support and I can't imagine they're ever going to even consider it. This is not a game that would ever even remotely work with a controller.
Mario Maker was 50% of the entire UPF, I understand that they love the game (It probably won GOTY based on Brad's reaction) but maybe tone it down a wee bit?
Yeah, it's getting to be too much. I was actively excited about getting Mario Maker when I bought a Wii U next year, but now I'm kind of sick of it without even playing it. The problem is that they get into their patterns where one game just dominates content for weeks or even months on end, either because it's easier or there just isn't anything else that they're equally enthusiastic about.
It's better than Windjammers, at least. Mario Maker has actual variation to it.
Exactly. It's definitely better than Windjammers, but Mario Maker needs to be retired from UPF.
No, it doesn't. The whole point of the UPF is that they play whatever the hell they feel like playing.
I feel like the suggestion of adding a nose to the player's view to help prevent motion sickness has come up a few times over the years, and yet I'm still not seeing it in VR games...
Because there has yet to be any confirmation on whether it has any effect whatsoever even though people have tested it in several ways.
Dan jokingly being convinced he can win a fight against different animals is my new favourite thing.
I'm not convinced he's really joking. Knowing how oblivious he is of how things work in real world I suspect he really thinks he can win a fight with a wolf. I'm also getting more and more tired of listening to his inane ramblings.
If you really think he's being serious then I think you're the oblivious one.
