Max Payne 3 definitely. Spec Ops has a great story, but it's only something you'll play once and then be done and it's not as interesting to play, since the gameplay itself is so generic. Max Payne 3 however is one of the most fun and actually interesting third person shooters in a while and it has a brilliant multiplayer game, which would keep you playing for way longer.

The story and settings are all really good, but the combat is just so horrible and so incredibly boring that it's not even close to being worth the full price and subscription. It'll probably end up going F2P in a couple of month, maybe then it'll be kinda worth playing.

I require more Jeff. He barely does quick looks anymore.

Yeah, he could've told us if he thinks the bullettime stuff works well and is fun (or not), he could've told us if he thought the gang wars setup is cool or not. Those are the two seemingly different things that Max Payne is doing in multiplayer, and he doesn't really give his opinion on it.

This is basically what I get from most of the contents of the review, the text gives me the general idea that he thinks it's a well made game, but it doesn't really tell me if he enjoyed it or not.

He WIll prab talk more about it during the bombcast this week. Also the multiplayer is straight forward if you ask me, nothing really to elaborate, It's like asking in a COD review "which sniper is better".

There's slow motion in multiplayer, that's pretty goddamn far from straight forward.

It's probably because the multiplayer reminds them more of CoD than the singleplayer and if a game is like Call of Duty, it's 10/10 for GT

@MAGZine: It wasn't a departure for GTA3 or VC, they have more or less a similar tone as GTAIV, only San Andreas had that wacky tone, yet everyone for some reason goes off thinking that every GTA game was like SA.
