The problem with this is that "making friends" feels frowned upon. You're supposed to have friends, and perhaps make some more, THAT is OK. But to be in square one and try to make friends, people look harshly at that. People expect you as a dude in your 20s to already have contacts in your phone, facebook friends to like your pictures, to hear your WhatsApp buzzing all the time, etc..

I think it's bullshit when someone gives you a tip to make friends. In the real world if you've passed your teenage years and you still don't have any friends, people will not be interested in joining circles with you because you have no circles. They look down upon you, albeit in a friendly way, and consider you an acquaintance.

My experience at least.

I wish I didn't spend my time playing Oblivion and Battlefield as a kid and hung on to a bunch of high school motherfuckers and kept hanging out with them. I missed out on that once-in-a-lifetime ticket into a proper social life.

When I watched its latest trailer, I felt sick in my stomach from how excessively safe and familiar its design is. Everything that was on the screen, it was taken from the 200 other games like it.

I feel sick in my stomach when I see too many games looking the same in the sense of design, gameplay range, and the nature of your interactivity with the world.

If games stick to these rehashed design schematics that were set down by Half-Life 2 and Resident Evil 4, I don't think I'll ever buy a new game again. I'm dying for the next part of the evolution..

A good PC runs any game at 60+ FPS, regardless of the genre or world size. Go play Skyrim or Prototype on a PC and see the numbers. The fact that this brand new Playstation that is supposed to be on par with good PCs could not target 60 FPS for its first triple A title tells me a lot about the future of its games, because it's always down from this point forward, not up.

You're speaking of 60fps in open world like it's unfathomable or insanely demanding, when in reality it's been happening on PC for years. I think I'm the one who should be doing the laughing, bruh.

@mezmero: Don't take it so seriously brother, no hate, but the dialogue you quoted is talk in the air, it doesn't guarantee anything actually taking place because talk is talk in Game of Thrones.. so if what you said about the meeting is your own speculation, you should have worded it differently. Absolutely nothing. This website is a forum to me, with the occasional quick look. I'm afraid none of the random stuff these guys do holds my interest anymore, I think they've become seriously boring over the past 2 years. They're nice I'm not hating on them, but they make me bored, and the adjective for that is "boring," no offense intended. They just think they're so smart and they're barely about games or gameplay anymore, they just spend time doing shit on camera and cracking wise, I don't see the appeal.

Damn, dude. Nothing about this new generation is pulling me away from my PC, and these lacking resolution and FPS numbers, at the very beginning of the generation no less, are even more discouraging.

How did Far Cry 3 run for you? Stick of Truth? AC Black Flag? Blacklist? Rayman games? Future Soldier? Driver San Francisco? Because ever since From Dust, these games have run pretty excellent on my 4 year old rig. I'm just wondering which ones have been lukewarm in your experience.
