I must admit I rarely bother going to a video game site for the reviews. I rarely go for previews as I don't like to tease myself with a game that won't come out for months. Some features are alright but the main thing that will bring me to a site is forums. I like to look at a game's forum and see what the main issues and likes are. I'll be honest, Giantbomb's game forums are weak except for the most popular games. Seems that even a month old game will end up with a dead board. GameFAQ has the most active forums but a good chunk is trolls too. Since GameFAQ is part of Gamespot, GS gets to claim they have very active forums also. Anyone who has been on GS can tell you the staff is horrible. They have zero features except horrible tournaments. Their articles usually have errors about game info or just simply stupid articles. Trying to give back negative but proper feedback will result in your comment getting deleted. Any type of negative comment like pointing out their errors or them repeating the same thing back again, or even asking for them to explain why they deleted your comment will result in a suspension.
So, after all that, I'm done with those tools. The staff is horrible and the site's coding is broken and outdated. So heres to a new era. Rant off.
