It's down to two images. Please pick which one suits your taste. Again, please give reasons for your answer.

[Note] The arrow from the top image will be removed as loads of people commented on it not being essential to the logo.

The yellow-skinned kid seems racy.  Paint him peach and it gets my vote.  A kid on logo seems more suited for a young and vibrant site, whereas the elderly scholar is more associative with knowledge and archiving databases of information, much like Giant Bomb does now with the wiki.  Unless NextGameReviews plans to head in that direction, choose option 2.

Nice job on both, btw.

I had $400 saved up by the time I was a teenager.  I got there by not spending $90 on games I could easily find used. "
Who gave you the money? Were you actually working or did you get everything from your parents/relatives? Not every kid is spoiled. "
Both, actually.   Christmas/Birthday money played a large part, and I was employed by my dad for a few summers.  I ended up spending my life's savings on a Sony Vaio PC when I was 16.

But I'm probably spoiled, too, being American and the youngest child and all...

" Okay, my sister (who is 13 by the way), got it into her head that she wants Super Mario World 2 Advance. She's spending $90 on a brand new copy of the game that she will proceed to open and play. So, Giantbomb, is she an idiot? I'm trying to convince her to buy a used copy of $12... but she is insisting that she buys it new. She says a used game "might not work as well".. So please, Giantbomb, post your responses to this sad tale so that I can show them to her.. "

I love Yoshi's Island more than just about any Mario game, but it's nowhere near $90.  Show her pictures of the 3DS, then remind her that the new console is less than 3 times the price.  Then, advise her to buy used.  You are legally allowed to use an emulated version of the game at the point, and you could go all out on flash cards for the NDS.  And if the used cartridge does not "work as well" there's six more chances for the same price.

1-2 hours a week.  Sometimes I go all out, while otherwise I don't play for weeks.

There are countless Japanese space shooters I could bring up, but that would be no fun.

I did find this level in Super Mario Galaxy 2 to be particularly arduous.  Five bosses, five minutes.

The striped borders are obnoxious, but otherwise it's a clean, inviting environment.
