I also struggled for a long time to find a pair of jeans that fit and finally someone told me to try Nordstrom and they nailed it. The jeans they have are expensive, but there is absolutely something different about they way they feel and more importantly the way they fit. I've found that Fidelity jeans are exactly what I wanted from jeans: They feel nice, they fit really well, and the denim doesn't shrink when washed nor does it expand over time. Those jeans fit the same today as they did when I got them a few years ago, it's awesome. Also, when trying jeans on at Nordstrom you only need to worry about the waist; they'll tailor the length for you. Like I said, they're expensive (about $200 per pair) but in my experience you get what you pay for and I'm thrilled

Is there a chance it's possible to have the app filter out the trailers that get uploaded to the site and only show original content?

Edit: I guess I should say I mainly just click on "Latest" since I'd rather not go through all the subcategories looking for what's new. So yeah, being able to filter out trailers from the Latest stuff would be sweet

@Pop: Oh really? Maybe they changed stuff around and didn't update the billing page. Jeff/Dave, can either of you confirm the status of ads for monthly subscribers?

I'd prefer to be on the monthly option because (a) it lets me give you more money, and (b) I wouldn't even notice $5 deducting from my account each month so it'd be an easy way to support the site. Win-win, I'd think. But I would prefer to not see ads, and you can't opt out of them on the monthly plan.

Is there any way you guys would reconsider how the plans are broken down? I feel like the monthly option would be preferable for you guys but I'm not sure why I'd be a second class citizen for showing more support for the site (silver avatar medallion and all!)

Jeff gets animated when he talks about this subject (also citing Mortal Kombat like you did, Patrick) but I don't think on-disc DLC is the only solution. I mean, we're talking about this because of the potential for online sync issues, so 100% of the people who could theoretically encounter this problem can also have the game automatically download a content patch with post-release DLC. Team Fortress 2 solved this problem years ago, which makes me think the actual problem is that console patches are either inefficient (requiring players to manually visit the store a la Mortal Kombat), or expensive (we heard a dollar figure a few weeks ago, though I forget who spilled it). Hopefully the next generation of consoles will be an improvement, but honestly I'm not holding my breath. There's got to be an answer somewhere though.

Edit: reading through that again feels like I'm beating a dead horse, I'm sure this has been discussed endlessly already by tons of people. So, sorry I guess

Just wanted to give you a bump of encouragement. This has become a vital app for me, thank you for all the effort you put into it. I'd love to kick you a few bucks if you have a PayPal account (or heck, just dream up some kind of in-app purchase).

This is probably a clear indicator of my own Hollywood naivete, but Microsoft's "demands" in that excerpt are exactly what I would have expected them to ask for, I see nothing out of line there. Heck, it's what I would have asked for myself if I had a franchise I cared about and wanted to protect and curate. I feel like it's also what anyone in Hollywood should be asking for when a game publisher wants to create a game adaptation of a movie; the creators should be deeply involved.

What's the problem?

Okay, a few things:

- I like when an app's full name fits under the icon. Perhaps consider a name change for the app, may I suggest calling it Duder?

- Take @ShaunassNZ up on their offer to get you a nice Whiskeyfied icon

- Also related to @ShaunassNZ's post, the login process does need to be hidden, I wasn't sure if I had done something wrong there while it was wigging out

- Might be cool to have a flashy main menu (where you pick which site to drill into). Perhaps an image split five ways (asterisk style) with each site's icon magnified in each section? Just thinking out loud

- In the list of videos, it would be nice to be able to just tap on the video and have it start playing. Perhaps create a global preference setting for Mobile/Low/High/HD (similar to what the mobile versions of the sites already do). On the right side of each entry in the video list you could put one of those arrows (>) which could lead to video details and description and whatnot. But if I just want to watch the video I'd like to be able to tap and go

- Would be nice if you turned the (<<) and (>>) buttons in the player to Skip Back and Skip Ahead buttons, similar to what Instacast does. It just scrubs 10 or 15 seconds in whichever direction you tap, and it would be nice to be able to do that in these videos as well

- Being able to create a playlist (or just having it play another video when the current one ends (either random or sequential)) would also be sweet

Great work on this so far, though, keep it up!
