i9-9900k and 2080 Super at 1440p with Ray Tracing at medium. Played around 16 hours. No crashes. Only a couple bad immersion breaking bugs. Usually around 60 fps occasionally in the 40s. Been pretty smooth TBH. I think the first day I had some dips into 30s during some of the visual effects from Johnny, but those have all but disappeared.

I gotta say I am maybe 15 hours in and completely loving it. The gameplay has been fun as hell and the story/characters are amazing. But most of all this fucking city is so cool. I love that the game is in first person. It just gives so much scale to things. Walking around the downtown area around the huge buildings and looking up is like nothing else I've felt in games. There is so much density in this game it is ridiculous and the design of all the different parts of the city is top notch.

With that said I am on the PC version with a high end rig. The streets are packed, the game run smooth, and everything looks incredible. I have only had a few bad bugs, and several negligible ones. TBH it hasn't negatively impacted me much at all.

I just hope everyone on console can get a similar experience in the near future.

As a final thought it kind of bums me out how down on the game Giant Bomb has been. I am cool with them trashing it to no end for the bugs, but when they ignore all that and talk about the base game they act like it is just some run of the mill open world game. It is really so much more impressive than that. Do they really think this is on par with series like Watch Dogs or Assassins Creed? Because that is the vibe I get. I feel like I live in a different universe sometimes when they talk about games. Oh well.

Not sure I have played a more "fun" video game than DMC V since Doom (2016). My front runner right now.

Somehow Kojima gets me so fucking excited. He hasn't missed a step yet and this looks like no exception. Can't wait.

Maybe I need to rewatch the last battle at Winterfell, but I was sure like 95% of the armies had died. Now apparently they only lost 50%? Am I crazy?

Remember that deserty looking area outside the gates of King's Landing? Me either. It was also really cool how the walls of the city appeared to be made out of cardboard. Also Cersei, the same woman who blew up the Sept of Baelor, refused to just annihilate Dany and her dragon with ease and claim the throne for good. Makes sense. /s

Oh and the Euron/Rhaegal thing was fucking pathetic writing. Dany just didn't see them? Really. She just forgot? Fuck you, writers, fuck you. And what better platform to fire an absolute missle of a bolt from than a medieval ship amirite? The physics of those things are comically stupid. Not to mention the first 3 shots have pinpoint accuracy and kill Rhaegal, then the next 100 all miss even though Dany flew at least half a mile closer to them. Fuck offffffff. This show has gotten so bad. Such a shame.

Wow, seems kind of rare for a developer to just own the criticism like that especially in a trailer. Glad to see it is looking much improved.

Apparently people are calling Arya a Mary Sue? What the shit?

I'm not sure anyone is actually calling Arya a Mary Sue (if they are it is an incredibly tiny percent of people). I saw that trending on twitter and spent a good 10min looking and didn't see a single tweet calling her a Mary Sue, just countless people defending her and being outraged that people would call her a Mary Sue. What strange times we live in.

I can't believe we had all these great warriors and Valyrian steel swords and everything in one place against the White Walkers and we did not get to see even one duel. Not a single fight against a White Walker. What the actual fuck.

Pretty disappointed with last nights episode. I find it hard to believe this huge threat that has been looming for 8 seasons has finally arrived on WInterfell's doorstep and it was dealt with in one night with minimal major character casualties. I am really hoping there is more to the Three Eyed Raven's story and the plot with the Whitewalkers and Night King, because this has been a major letdown. It all seems a bit pointless if it just ends like this. Guess we'll see what they do with it (or not do with it) from here.

I really hated how they would show major characters getting absolutely swarmed and on the brink of death in at least a dozen different scenes only to cut away and come back with them fighting off a quarter of the wights we last saw attacking them. When you fake out and tease these things so often it lessens the stakes. With the way episode 2 went, I thought for sure we would lose 10-15 big characters, but it ended up being like 5 or something? We lost no Starks, no Lannisters, no Targaryens. We even saw wights rampant in the Crypts, but I guess we only lost just random no names again? It is truly incredible how nearly every named character was an inch from death at one point or another, but 95% end up surviving.

The past couple of seasons seem like I am watching any other TV show and not the one I fell in love with for being so different way back in the first handful of seasons. Maybe the show got too big and too popular for them to not give into fan service and classic TV tropes.

I do have some small amount of faith the writers have something big still up their sleeve, whether this involves the NK being resurrected or Bran being the real bad guy, but fuck it would suck to get my hopes up again.
