Are there any of those masks that aren't Heavy or Light Armor? My mage build relies heavily on Magic Armor, which increases in strength greatly if you don't have anything considered armor on. So wearing those masks kind of fucks up my whole build. Which kind of sucks because I love how they look, and the Morokei one seems like it's intended for Mages.

I personally don't see the point, unless you're a masochist who needs a radical sense of accomplishment. There are no achievements, and (as far as I'm aware) you receive the exact same loot. Or if you've managed to break your character through min-maxing and the defeault difficulty is terribly easy.

That's exactly what I'm saying, besides the inferior part. It's a PS3 game plain and simple, it's not for the average xbox owner. Let's be serious here, the average xbox owner spends most of their time on xbox live on many of the great games that offer a great online multiplayer experience. Dark Souls is a more akin to the aura of the PS3 and games of yore. I'm making the assumption that he plays xbox because most PS3 players have plays Demon's or at least know what they are getting into. Also 99% of complaint threads are from Xbox owners, not inferior and Im not saying this to be insulting, just a different demographic.

Your only real wasted stats are maybe 5-6 pts too many in STR, and 3-4 points too many in DEX depending on the weapons you'd like to use. You really don't seem that bad off, maybe you could be 6-7 levels higher, but that's not going to be the thing holding you back from beating them.

I'm not sure, but make sure you don't level up too far past SL120, that's the PvP sweet spot. The further away you get from SL120, the harder it will be to summon/invade people because of the 10% level range.

About your stats though:

You are in a weird position, because with only 10-13 levels left to add, any more STR would be pointless, because 34 is all you need for the best greatshield and to be able to 2hand any STR weapon besides Smough's Hammer. VIT and END after 40 have diminishing returns, but points in VIT could still help as you will get X+(X*.15)+(X*.2) for every extra point of HP you get. a few more ATT slots could help, since even if you don't want any additional spells(you don't have Great Chaos Fireball by the way, it's an amazing spell you get from the Chaos Servant covenant) you can always get dupes from NG+ to double your casting amounts.FAI, INT, RES, and DEX would all be wasted point IMO.

Go for VIT or ATT i'd say.

If that grab move is an insta-kill, your VIT or armor might be too low for that point in the game. I just did this last night and the grab move was doing maybe 1/3 of my healthbar, but I have quite a bit invested in my armor and VIT. Just attack them once, immediately dodge back, then hit them again when they crash into the ground after failing to grab you. Just don't get greedy or they will kill you for sure.
